Das Hotel liegt eindrucksvoll an der Felsküste zwischen La Ciotat und Bandol oberhalb des Mittelmeers. Zum Strand führen ein Weg und eine Treppe. Der Strand ist wegen Felsen nur eingeschränkt zum Baden geeignet, bietet aber einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Küste rund um La Ciotat. Das gilt insbesondere bei Sonnenaufgang (Der war im September zu meinem Glück erst gegen 7:00 Uhr) - vermutlich einer der schönsten Landschafts-Ausblicke, die ich am Mittelmeer je gesehen habe. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr schön. Sehr stimmungsvoll auch die typisch südlichen Bäume rundum. Die Zimmer zum Meer hin liegen nach unserer Erfahrung ruhig, die andere Seite ist wegen der Autostraße vermutlich doch etwas laut. Gäste sollten ein Auto dabei haben, weil Restaurants, Strände und Städte das nach meiner Einschätzung erfordern. Wir hatten einen Parkplatz direkt auf dem Hotelgelände reserviert, und das war sehr sicher gegen Aufbruch. Die Übernachtungspreise sind wie überall an der Cote d'Azur mit direktem Meerblick hoch - aber das ist ein Problem der ganzen Region. Insoweit ist das Hôtel Corniche du Liouquet sogar preiswert.

Das Hotel liegt sehr versteckt in einer schlechten und schmalen Strasse an der Küste. Der Meerblick geht dabei durch ein mit Bäumen bestandenes Grundstück. Das Meer erreicht man über eine steile Treppe auf der anderen Straßenseite. Baden ist aufgrund der Felsen schwierig.
Es gibt ein behinderten gerechtes Zimmer mit schöner Terrasse in ein Gartengrundstück (kein Meerblick)
Ein schönes Hotel, jedoch ist man auf das Auto angewiesen.

Réception, accueil, cadre , sympathique tranquillité, accessibilité tout était superbe. Très bon accueil et hôtel très agréable, propreté et confort de la literie dans un environnement calme et reposant. Très bon petit déjeuner avec pâtisseries maison délicieuses. Un accès à une petite crique pour la baignade est un vrai plus. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir

Excellent hotel with good service. Superb view on the sea and the city (La Ciotat). Price very reasonable for the French Riviera. Room very comfortable. No noise from outside. 1/2 hour drive to La Ciotat. Cabs are expensive. You better rent a car if you can find a parking place in La Ciotat. The hotel is located about 1/2 drive to the railway station. From La Ciotat, you can catch one of the many trains and visit Marseille. Marseille is about 45 minutes by train from La Ciotat.

Lovely hotel and wonderful service! Natural rock beach a short hike down steps and path from hotel. Very nice room, 2nd floor with view of ocean through the parasol pines… Walking distance to 2 very nice restaurants. City 15 minutes by car. We took a taxi one evening and the cost was 20Euro per way. Wi-Fi could be stronger and a mini fridge would be helpful. Maybe other rooms have both. We loved our stay!
