Excelent place with good vibe, great food and very comfortable rooms. The restaurant got the best view on the ocean. You can enjoy your meal with an awesome breeze. To me that's the gem of this place :) I was leading the tour of 10 people, all of them were super happy.

I just spent a week at Maisha and it was awesome. The staff is so friendly and kind hearted. Got to enjoy a delicious breakfast with a fantastic view of the turquoise ocean. The room was spacious and super clean. They also have a great menu for lunch and dinner and the food is delicious. I will definitely be back. I was always greeted with so much kindness and while travelling alone, I always felt safe. Thanks guys, I'll be back.

Being on holiday in Paje we visited this hotel with the purpose to stay there several days. When checking upon the rooms, they appeared to be much less attractive than what the pictures on the internet show. Nonetheless the price of $ US 110 per night. Regardless the very limited offer, we decided to spend the afternoon at the bar and consumed quite a lot. When requesting to pay in US $ they converted at an indecent rate, trying to obtain 25% additional converting margin. We refused and payed by credit card in Tanzanian Shillings. Enquiring upon the place later on, we understood the owner is very much money seeking from guests.

Stayed here with friends and it was incredible. The hotel is right on the beach, so we woke up every day with stunning views. The whole place is beautifully decorated with such a relaxing vibe. The seating areas are super cozy, perfect for chilling out. The staff was amazing very friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed. It’s the ideal spot for enjoy a beautiful beach. Can't wait to come back!!!:)

Wir hatten das Glück, im Maisha Matamu zu übernachten, und es war wirklich ein traumhafter Urlaub! Das Hotel hat eine unglaublich entspannte Atmosphäre, in der man sich sofort wie zu Hause fühlt. Besonders die neuen Besitzer sind unglaublich sympathisch und geben sich richtig Mühe, den Aufenthalt unvergesslich zu machen. Man merkt, dass ihnen das Wohl ihrer Gäste sehr am Herzen liegt. Die Zimmer waren schön eingerichtet und der Strand direkt vor der Tür ist einfach ein Traum. Das gesamte Team war super freundlich und aufmerksam. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit – wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder

Wir hatten als Familie einen fantastischen Urlaub im Maisha Matamu Hotel. Die neuen Besitzer/innen sind einfach super und bringen eine tolle Atmosphäre. Alles ist frisch renoviert. Tolle Lage direkt am Strand, gemütliche Zimmer und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Absolut empfehlenswert!!:)

I stayed on the second floor of a bungalow with a thatched roof. It felt like being in a treehouse for adults. Everything is made of wood, the room is simple and spacious — there’s a large bed, mosquito net, fan, shower, and even a table with a chair. The best part of this hotel is that it’s almost right on the ocean, with the sound of waves close by all night. In the morning, they offer a simple breakfast in the beach bar under a canopy. There’s also a kids' pool and single-story adjoining rooms.

Os quartos são horríveis, eles vendem no site o quarto modo económico mas não avisam que é uma oca de palha com condições totalmente precárias, piso de madeira esburacado, paredes de palha, banheira horrível sem espaço e sem box o vaso e embaixo do chuveiro. Sem falar da escada que tem para subir para o alojamento que é espedacada e esburacado. A dica que dou é não se hóspede nesse local repugnante
