I was very satisfied with everything from the service to the facilities, breakfast, and hot springs! It's definitely a place I want to go back to! I'm really glad I was able to stay at such a reasonable price this time.

We had a fantastic stay at Tokinoniwa. The traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the amenities were so complete that all we needed was a change of clothes! Our room had a private onsen, and we could also reserve a lovely public onsen. The only minor drawback is the distance from the bus terminal, with the last shuttle running at 6pm.
Despite this, it’s a perfect spot for a relaxing and authentic onsen experience. We regret not extending. Highly recommended!

Shuttle buses can be booked to and from Karuizawa and Onsen Inn, which is very convenient;there are shuttle buses to and from Kusatsu Bus Station and Inn from morning to night;there are three private hot springs, soaked twice, are available after a while; Dinners were delicious and more styles than any other inn;the room was comfortable with a terrace and a hot spring water soak in the room

Wonderful stay for our family trip. All facilities are clean and well maintained. Top level staff service in each part. Though lack kimono for young children, they refilled very quickly. Food and drinks were yummy. They provided great choice and variety for breakfast and dinner even for 2 consecutive days that we had stayed. Would love to return. Osen was well maintained and clean.
