Kurobe Unazukionsen Yamanoha ★★★

📍 352-7 Unazukionsen, Kurobe

"The room was the biggest out of the 5 places we stayed during our trip. It came with 2 toilets! The hotel provides shuttle bus from train station, although it is not too far. It has facilities like table tennis room, board games room, claw machine room, massage chairs, spa, and onsen. The package came with dinner and breakfast buffets. Both offer variety and very delicious food."

"The room is great, the dinner is average, and the breakfast buffet has so many items that you won't be able to finish them all. The overnight dried flounder that looked like it was grilled was delicious. breakfast The view from the venue is also great. I think it would be even more spectacular during the autumn leaves season. I would like to visit you again."

📍 462-2 Unazukionsen, Kurobe

"The location was very good. If you are going to ride the trolley, I definitely recommend it. It's only a 2-3 minute walk from the hotel. The breakfast was also very satisfying. It was very delicious. The miso soup and chawanmushi were especially delicious, I don't know if it was the broth or the miso. The grated sardines were also surprisingly sweet, and I wonder if the radish was good. They prepared it in a small bowl, so it was easy to pick up and eat. Of course I had a second helping. The pork soup they served in the evening was also very delicious with lots of ingredients. The bath was a little hot, so I found it difficult to get in, but maybe it's because of the area? The spring water was smooth and made my skin feel smooth. The building may be old, but there was no inconvenience. The hotel staff were all very refreshing and it was a pleasant experience. I've posted pictures of breakfast, the area in front of the hotel, the view from my room window, and the view from the trolley. I'd like to have that pork soup again."

Kurobe Unazukionsen Yamanoha ★★★
"1. Took the free shuttle from the airport to Toyama Station, then the electric train from Toyama Station to Unazuki. Once there, you can either walk to the hotel, it's not too far, or ask the hotel to pick you up. 2. The hot spring bath isn't huge, but it's decent. They also have private baths available for an additional fee. 3. The dinner buffet was very crowded with a wide variety of dishes. Many of the staff weren't Japanese, making it feel very international. Breakfast was just so-so. You can also take the scenic train nearby."

HOTEL R9 The Yard Kurobe ★★★
"There was a hot spring nearby, a supermarket nearby, and a major road, so it was very convenient. We were hit by snow, but there was a snow-melting system so we had no problems getting around. The hotel service was also kind and courteous, so we were able to stay there with peace of mind. I would like to use it again next time."

"Accommodation in Unazuki Onsen. The town is an old hot spring village, and the overall atmosphere is showing its age, and the hotel reflects that. After breakfast, we took the Kurobe Gorge Railway."

"Very good, the price is less than 900 mao/person, you can consider visiting it again in summer or autumn, and take a ride on the train by the way. The hotel was built 100 years ago, but the interior renovation and maintenance are very good. The standard rooms are also relatively large in hot spring hotels, with many electrical sockets and a reasonable layout. There are three large public baths and two private baths, which are spacious and well-equipped for bathing. For dinner, there is Kamameshi soy milk shabu-shabu, seasonal buri and local soba noodles, which are quite unique; the breakfast buffet has a lot of vegetables, which really saved my life, and they also provide freshly ground coffee! There is a free bus to Unazuki Onsen Station, but reservations must be made in advance."

"Breakfast was a full Japanese buffet, and I can only describe it in two words: "delicious." Also, the counter staff were very thorough in their explanations and were not at all impatient with my questions. I felt it was truly heartwarming for a tired traveler!"

"The food was delicious, the hospitality was great, the hot spring in the room was comfortable and overlooked the valley! The amenities were also good. The bath was also new and made of cypress wood, which felt great. This time, I came to eat white shrimp and firefly squid. I was expecting a shrimp squid feast, but it was a bit modest, which was disappointing. The next day, I ate more shrimp squid at a restaurant in a tourist spot. lol However, the taste and the kikizashi were very good."
