Overall satisfaction! A local old hotel with high cost performance! The room is in good condition.
Advantages: The front desk service is very good, especially the employees with work numbers 527 and 532, who check in efficiently and have a good attitude. They also help upgrade and send breakfast for the children. The room delivery speed is timely. The rice noodles for breakfast are very local and worth a try.
Disadvantages: The concierge service is not good. They all stand there and don’t help to move the luggage. When I came back at night, it was the security who helped to open the door.
Suggestions: There are two pages 26 and 27 of the room delivery in the room with different prices, which is easy to cause confusion. The breakfast flower cake can be placed on the insulation board, which will taste better.
If I come to Kunming again, I will consider staying again.

2. There were documents that needed to be printed temporarily, and the female clerk at the front desk immediately helped to print them.
3. There are self-service washing machines and dryers on the first floor of the hotel, which are very friendly to family travel and save a lot of trouble. There is also a small gym.
4. There are also free snacks and drinks in the lobby, which tastes pretty good and is very considerate.
5. The location is also very convenient. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the museum and Guandu Ancient Town. There is also a commercial complex and an amusement park next to it. Children like it very much.

This is a very tasteful hotel, stacked in the building built by Vanke, like a flower blooming, with the smell of the Aegean Sea floating in the air, the walls are inlaid with Yunnan straw, and a lot of reed straw has fallen from the roof, floating above a giant log table, with various openings of appropriate proportions, such as round door lintels and window lintels, which look very much like the walls of the Greek Acropolis 🇬🇷! The clear water floor is clean and simple, and I really want to walk around barefoot!
Various smart connections, only in China can such a possibility exist!
Breakfast is also rice noodles cooked by myself, of course, it is only a process of taking out and scooping, and all kinds of ingredients are properly surrounded!
This is a hotel of beauty and wisdom, I think this is my feeling!

This hotel is located in a building which has to share elevators with others floors. It makes me feel not safe. Not much things around this hotel to eat or see, you have to take 30 minutes subway to downtown or attractions. Taking about the room, it’s big and new with voice commands. However, the voice commands control the air conditioner which makes me crazy. You have to say the correct words to control it. After I checked in, I have tried many times to operate the air conditioner but it did not work for me. I called the front desk, they send people to control but still didn’t work. After many times trying, he figured out the correct words to say. OMG… if you don’t speak mandarin, don’t stay here.
Another big problem is cleaning, see the pictures that I posted, they never clean the floor. I never heard sound of vacuum, the floor still dirty as the first day I checked in.
The breakfast is simple but cold, even in the heater. Don’t know why.
Overall, it is okay if you don’t mind the problems that I mentioned.

The hotel is about a few hundred meters away from Exit A of Erji Road of Metro Line 1, which is very convenient for travel. There are eating and shopping malls nearby. Checked in very late, but the front desk clerk was still very good. We ordered takeaway and helped deliver it to the door. The room design is good, the space is large, the window sill is large, and the view is good. I came here with my friends. I think the hotel rooms here are good. I like their lighting design. The environment is also elegant. The front desk service is very friendly. The location is also very good. The transportation is convenient and close to the subway station. The facilities are also very complete and eating is very convenient. There is a snack street opposite. The lady at the front desk also upgraded me to a superior king room for free. The service was great👍I will come back next time

GGuest UserOverall, I like this hotel chain in general and would stay there again, both at this location and in other cities. This was not the first location for this chain that I have stayed at.
Location: The hotel is located in a fairly central location. It is very close to Green Lake, though you'll need a map in order to know that. It's across the street from a KFC, 711, and Starbucks, and around the corner from a Burger King. There are also quite a few shared bikes (both electric and not) available from several different companies in front of the hotel.
Amenities: Breakfast is available for an additional charge, and there is a laundry room. I used neither of these. The hotel room has a refrigerator and more than the standard two bottles of drinking water plus an electric kettle, tea set, two packets of tea, and some candy in a dish (that looked like it had been there for a very long time). This hotel chain is generally very good about giving you more water if you ask. The bed is very comfortable, the tv is huge, the shower is hot with good water pressure, and the room is clean overall. There were ink stains on the sofa, but no problems with the bedding. Some of the furniture/walls were starting to be in need of repair, but it's not a problem unless you're super picky.
Safety/Service: The front desk staff are always very nice and helpful and willing to answer any questions that you have, but you'll need to speak Mandarin or have a translator handy. English is limited or non-existent. I felt safe in my room, and I didn't worry about leaving things in my room that I generally keep on my person in other hotels. The maid was also very kind and helped me when I saw her in the hallway and asked for help with a small problem (that was totally just my ignorance and too embarrassing to mention!).
WIFI: Wifi is available, but there is no information about the network or password in the room that I could find. I went down to the front desk and the woman there put the password on my phone for me.
Quiet: Well, there were some very loud and very rude guests staying in rooms near me. I don't know what the hotel's response would have been as I didn't all the front desk to complain. It definitely could have been quieter. There was no noise from outside the hotel, though.
Problems: I stayed at this hotel three nights total but two times (one night at the beginning and two nights at the end of my trip). My second room at this hotel (when I stayed for two nights), there was a blinking light inside a grate in the ceiling that can only be seen when all the lights are out. It was really bothering me, and making it difficult for me to sleep. I called the front desk at approx. 12:30 in the morning, and they didn't quite understand my problem (completely due to my sub-par Mandarin), but they sent someone to take a look. The maintenance guy who came said he knew exactly what I was talking about once I pointed upward. He didn't need me to turn off the light and show him. He said there was nothing he could do. If they turned out that light, I would have no electricity in the room. He also said that it's like that in every room. I didn't remember seeing it in the first room I had stayed in at the beginning of my trip, and I also didn't remember it from when I had stayed for three nights at a different location. Whether it really exists in every room or not is here nor there, though it ought to be obvious that a blinking light that doesn't turn off when you turn all the lights off is a bad idea, and something ought to be done). It is possible that it exists in every room but that it's not visible from the bed in every room due to the placement of that grate.

DDexter50000I had the pleasure of staying at the hotel over the first week of September 2024 and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the hotel’s stunning aesthetic design. The blend of modern elegance with unique architecture created an atmosphere that felt both luxurious and welcoming.
The hotel is conveniently located next to a luxury mall with a supermarket in the basement where you can buy international groceries, pastries and fruits. Guests may also venture to other malls around the area or a night flea market that opens late into the night.
Buffet breakfast featured an extensive selection that included pastries, fresh fruits, pancakes, eggs cooked to order, and an array of dishes like congee with Yunnan spices. Food was good for a buffet spread, with staff ensuring that the buffet was well-replenished and clean.
What truly sets the hotel apart is its service. From the moment I arrived, staff was warm and attentive, ensuring that my every need was met. The front desk team was knowledgeable and eager to help. It was evident that the staff genuinely cared about creating a memorable experience for their guests.
Special mentions to Mila, who helped to facilitate the courier of my daughter's medicine, which I left behind at the hotel. Mila went out of the way to made sure that the medicine reached us on time. She kept us updated throughout the process. Communication was prompt and reassuring, which alleviated our worries.
Overall, I want to thank the hotel staff for making my stay a memorable one and I look forward to my return in future.

Pplushparadisecomfortable stay for a night stop over before an early flight the next day, it was a comfortable stay. the sheets were nice and soft. the toilet and showers are built such that they are individual cubicles, so the shower cubical doesn’t have any where to hang clothes/ towels, etc. all amenities provided, and there’s a laundry room with washer dryer to get your laundry sorted before continuing your trip.
shuttle bus to airport was 5am for a 7.40am flight, where it’s a “car pool” system, must book at time of check in.
night supper is a bowl of mien xian, basic. it’s a warm bowl to keep you going. there are no food options around outside of the building.

Hotel is located within walking distance to pedestrian streets and shopping malls. Breakfasts are mainly local Yunnan dishes that you have to pre-select for the next morning or as and when you check-in, limited selection though.

GGuest UserWe are Americans from Hong Kong and traveled to Kunming for our Easter holiday. The positives of this hotel: 1. it was beautiful. The design and furnishings were very well done and the room itself was exceptionally clean. 2. The owners were so kind. We arrived way after the tea time hour, but they still provided our family with cappuccinos and fresh fruit, free of charge. Both were delicious and our children were so excited about the gourmet coffee art. 3. The mattress in the main bed area was very comfortable. Not a typical “hard” mattress like many hotels in China. Another bonus: it was actually a KING size, which we rarely see outside the US! 4. The breakfast was Chinese style and the rice noodles were delicious! The hotel also had a beautiful courtyard area to eat outside. A few items to be aware of: 1. although the hotel was in a neighborhood near the lake, the neighborhood itself was a bit strange. We could tell it was meant to be a beautiful, well-to-do neighborhood of modern villas, but more than half the neighborhood was unused and/or under construction so it wasn’t as lively feeling in the evening because it was so dark and desolate seeming. It was beautiful in the daylight though! 2. This is not a big hotel chain, just an independent boutique style hotel operating in one of these villas. 3. There are no optimal eating spots near the hotel. You have to take a 20-30 minute Didi (taxi) ride to the nearest area with a lot of restaurants. However, if you like street food, there is a street food carnival area about 10 minutes away via walking (walk north along boardwalk bordering the lake.)
Overall, because of the kindness of the owners, the cleanliness and modernity, delicious breakfast, and comfortable mattress, we would definitely choose this hotel again for a one-night stopover.

GGuest UserLocation was great that it was a walk away from the Kunming Railway Station where I needed to be to leave the city. I liked how it was near a lot of food places! The volunteer Evens was an interesting person to talk to when I learned about his background in what he does as an occupation and where he is originally from in China. The owner Winni was a nice person as well and I appreciated and enjoy her and some of the other guests that cooked for us the night that we had a big dinner. Thank you for being part of the chef crew Winni. Everybody who stayed at the place was respectful and considered towards one another in the way that they conducted themselves. Was able to go along with the rules of this hostel because it fit my daily habits. Nobody had any habits that bothered me.
Not really into the hostel type of stays, due to lack of privacy. Was just happy to stay at this place since it was pretty much right at the doorstep of the Kunming Railway station where I can catch my train on time where I wouldn't end up getting lost in the city which in turn would end up missing it.
The only negative thing that I didn't like was that the bathroom did not have bath towels and just regular hand towels where I would not be able to dry myself very well after showering. Because of this I didn't want to take a shower at this place and the fact that these towels were used repeatedly from other guests, which made me feel uncomfortable wanting to use it. Would come back to this Hostel again if I happen to have to come back to Kunming again where I needed to be near this train station to catch at train there.

SSanyarat Mungklang , Thailand.The location is near the metro. It's just 5 minutes walk. Easy to find this property. The girl at the front desk when I checked in is enthusiastic to help me. She almost doesn't speak English but she's had a lovely service mind.
This property is so close to the green lake park. I spend the time from this hostel to the park just 4 minutes walk.
It's worth to stay here and the price can afford for the solo travelers who want to save cost like me.

SSUMINWe are from Lijiang and are going back to Thailand. Stop over at Khun Ming for 1 night, choose a hotel near the walking street, surrounded by shopping areas. Coming to the hotel is easy, you can take the subway from the high-speed rail station, Line 2, Kunming Subway Station, pass 3 stations, change to Line 3 at Dongfeng Square Station, then continue 1 more station, get off at Wuyi Station. Exit this station and find a shopping area. Walk 2-300 meters to the hotel.
There are 2 medium-sized bedrooms, and the bathroom shares a door. It's quite stiff and doesn't move very well.
If you don't think too much about the quality of the room Selecting a location first is still acceptable.

The boss's service attitude is also very good, kind and gentle to others. Great! The bed is also very comfortable to sleep on, and the decoration style is also the type I like.
