We were vacillating between Ramada and this hotel. Glad we decided on this one for our 2-night stay. This turned out to be a high point of our 8-day Mewar trip, and one of our best hotel stays ever. The hotel is located about 300 metres from the main road, which is fine, as most likely one would have a car at one's disposal while visiting Kumbhalgarh. It's set in a forest, with abundant wildlife all around. The landscaping is beautiful and modern (no pretense of heritage here) - on the slope of a hill. The hotel grounds are very pretty, and the swimming pool is well-maintained and attractive. I spent about 45 minutes in the pool with the kids, and that was one of their high points inn our trip. We stayed in one of the premium villas on the first floor. The room was very spacious (probably about 450-500 sq ft). They added a cot with bedding to accommodate our family, and even after that, there was a lot of space in the room. The room and the bathroom had all modern amenities and we found nothing lacking. The AC was comfortable. There is a balcony attached to every room on the first floor, and that also had a decent size and view. We had most of our meals on our balcony. The food was vegetarian, but very good. Every dish in every meal was served with a lot of care. The breakfast was abundant. The management and the staff go beyond their call of duty to please. Mr Raghav runs a great team here. We are extremely happy with the hotel, and wish them all best in the future.
