A serene retreat with the kumarakom Lake area. The resort has very attentive staff and there's quite a bit to do and explore within the resort.
The bungalows are really authentic to the traditional Keralite style. They come with an open to sky bathroom that makes the showering experience amazingly refreshing!
Definitely would recommend!!

Property is maintained well and staffs are too friendly ,and the naturalist was very friendly.The place serene,the Butterfly garden is too nice and the sea foods is okish and the other programs which are in the property is well maintained .

Prateesh guided us through an eco tour of the hotel grounds, butterfly garden tour, sunset cruise, and early morning bird spotting. He is very interesting and knowledgeable, and we really enjoyed our tours with him. We saw so many more birds and insects than we would have done on our own. Thank you Prateesh!

Getting to this lovely resort is via one of it's two boats. You leave from the resorts jetty and cruise for 5 minutes ***** the waterway to the resort. Here you are met by with a very warm welcome indeed. We were given an upgraded room, which had an enclosed outside bathroom. It was so cute, loved it. The resort offered a free sunset cruise on the lake each nice, which was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good.

We stayed for 2 nights and loved it. The rooms are amazing, with comfy beds, outdoor showers with a banana tree growing in the shower! The food was delicious with so many options and there were so many activities on offer. Huge shout out to Naveen, the yoga guru. He was so inspiring and so interesting to talk to. What an amazing ***. We also did meditation with him ( not done it before). The scenery is beautiful, the pool was lovely. We went cycling on electric bikes around the local villages, enjoyed the sunset cruise, and we went on a houseboat. I can’t recommend Coconut Lagoon more highly. Sad we had to leave!

Beautiful stay! I still have one more night but I was able to experience the most lovely bird watching with expert Pratheesh. He was so informative and really knew his birds. It was a pleasure to start the day that way. We embarked on a journey of the grounds for just over an hour. It was breath taking to see so many native birds and we were even lucky to catch a glimpse of the migrant osprey! Definitely take time to bird watch during your stay at Coconut Lagoon if you can.

I stayed in a villa: there was a sitting room downstairs with an outside bathroom and upstairs a large bedroom with two king sized beds Authetically furnished and beautiful location I would come back here in a heartbeat Extensive Indian and European breakfast. The food in the restaurants were beautifully prepared and delicious

Highly recommend the bird watching with Prateesh the naturalist! Saw a great many species. Incredible knowledge and good humor. Wish I had several more days to take in the nature and beauty with Prateesh as our guide. Hopefully will come back soon.

Stunning views across Lake Vembanadu. Lush gardens, flora and fauna. We stayed in a pool villa which had a great balcony overlooking the bird reserve. Kingfishers, Beecatchers and a friendly monitor lizard kept us occupied. The butterfly gardens were stunning.
