Cozy, very quiet, but far, no beach

Excellent place to stay if you want to chill and relax but a bit remote. The hotel states that there is free local transport available which we didn't use. The food was also excellent very good quality apart from eggs. I had the English type breakfast and my wife had benedict. In both cases the eggs were cold. The second day I ordered egg benedict stipulating that I wanted warm eggs which I got. The pool bar attendant pointed out that it was happy hour so we ordered beer and a cocktail. We were disuaded from paying cash. Fortunately we discovered that the promotion only applied to certain beers and cocktails without running up an enormous bill. A 200rm deposit is required at checkin. On checkout bizarrely the 200rm was added to our bill increasing the total owed. But you will get that back they explained. After some debate we did resolve the matter but I fear that we would not have received the deposit back without presenting the reciept so be warned.

Love here so much! Although don’t have beach here but still can feel relax.. we are lucky management upgraded our room to us and decorated so nice🥰 the room is big! Breakfast is including in room packages. Sarawak Laksa is nice! We also try the dinner, price a bit higher but still can accept.

It is located near Bako National Park and Sarawak Cultural Village, far away from the riverside tourist area, and is more suitable for self-driving tours.
The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was especially big. We stayed in a hotel in the city for two days. Before leaving Kuching, we spent a leisurely day here to get in touch with nature.
