Hotels Near Borneo Evangelical Church Malihah Park, Kuching in Kuching

I had a school reunion dinner on 14/9/2019 and it happened that the venue was chosen as to mark our memories of the building history of an ”Roxy cinema” to Roxy hotel and our school which was and still is just opposite the hotel. We used to see movies at the cinema after our Friday classes ended at 12.30pm. The food serves and during the dinner was perfect and affordable The room is clean, bed is comfortable except the layout of the coffee/tea , writing table need to rearrange for better spacing , the hanging of clothes and hangers are not suitable because it looks ugly too with our naked eyes. There is so much more to do on deco to make it a better place to stay. Would like the management to just pay a little bit of services to make guests happy like welcome drinks. The dinning at Cha Cha Restaurant at Level 7, need alot of improvement especially the buffet breakfast - there should be a bit variety of food eg fried noodles, fried rice, a mixture of salad, mixture of 2 fruits cakes/ buns . The waiter and waitress are excellent - tip top service to clear the tables

A service that you wouldn’t be able to imagine. This apartment would be the last resort you would want to choose in Kuching. If it wasn’t because of imperial hotel that was fully book during my time of stay i wouldn’t be choosing this apartment ever and also because due to my lack of research of other hotels as well I was actually looking for a hotel with swimming pool for kids to enjoy and spend their time with. Other hotel was way too expensive for only 2 nights stay.. However, this complaint is truly just on their service provided. Not on the facilities.. It is fully because they have the worst real estate agent to manage these service apartments. LUCO VISION SDN BHD (agent name: Lily).. First asking for RM200 deposit which I totally understand but later ask for RM30.80 “Service Charged” even after I fully paid my fee through Agoda. When I ask for explanation on what kind of service charged is charge, but they couldn’t explain further none other than just mentioning “this is management T&C”. Thereafter I call Agoda for further explanation on this service charged and it come to my surprised that even Agoda were not aware of such servicing fee being charged on client. How funny is that? Later then the agent say i must pay no matter what if i wish to continue my stay, i mean i have already fully paid to Agoda on my stay of RM494.60. And so called service fee that is chargeable, they can’t even explain it. By the way if you are curious why m i so furious on this service charged is because they can’t even give a brief explanation to what service charge m i paying, everything here is self check in and they have laundry machine in the apartment but it was lock because i have to pay extra to use it and worst still there’s no drinking water provided. Least of it, when i complaint to them through WhatsApp and demanded to have a number to call, agent refused to give a number. Stating that i can only contact them through WhatsApp. What kind of service is that?? I can’t even ask for a number or have a person to talk about on this issue?? So yeah, not to even mention when i ask for early check in of 30 minutes and they say it is also chargeable at an amount of RM150.00.. in addition to that there’s literally no front desk at the lobby and we can’t even go anywhere else because our luggage would eventually be unattended.. everything here is charges charges charges.. I really don’t like wasting my time giving complaint through online platform but this kind of service from these real estate agent or so called properties agent really giving me difficult sleeping time and future guest should deserve to know this kind of service from these people. I am not the only person giving complaint on Imperial Apartment already. I have live apartment at Penang and other places, their services was way more better than i could better explain in words.

Love to stay here because the mattress is comfy and clean make me feel relax. The air-conditioning is good too! Easy to go shopping at supermarket there. Just that only the swimming pool is quite hot bcos it's outdoor.

Receptionist are ok. Room windows are dirty, you cant see the view outside because of the mould are everywhere outside of the window. Room itself is ok but carpet are not that clean with used tissues and shredded papers on the floor. Iron is provided which is great. Breakfast is simple with 2 cereal options, 2 types of pastry, one bread with fruit jam/butter/kaya, scrambled egg, baked beans and fried noodle. Drinks got two options either cordial or hot coffee but acceptable since the breakfast costs only RM19/pp.

Large room with huge selection of free movies to stream. Pool with view of river. Location in heart ot kuching. Breakfast was pretty good.

I had a wonderful stay at Raia Hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure all my needs were met. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my experience and would highly recommend Raia Hotel for anyone looking for a great place to stay. Looking forward to my next visit!

Stayed there a night. Service is good, first room smelled cigarettes, informed and immediately was replaced with another room. Room clean. Not spacious but for couple is enough. Breakfast is okay, not too much variety,but has noodles, porridge, laksa, bread, fried nuggets etc. No milk 🥛 this morning.

First stay for a few years as haven't been back in Kuching since 2020. Very happy to see the hotel is even better than I remembered. The rooms have been touched up and feel almost new ! Pool is as good as I remembered, the special shape is interesting. Breakfast definitely good ... in fact ate there for lunch (buffet) and dinner over our 4 days in Kuching which we seldom do as we miss the local food. Prices are very reasonable (maybe even too cheap??haha) and great quality / taste. Also very thoughtful of the hotel to provide a shuttle service to Kuching Festival for all guests, saved us on grab fare and so convenient !! Even our relatives parked their car here and ”lumpang” . Thank you to the friendly staffs !!!

The place is quite hidden but there are parking lots prepared for the customer. The floor is ceramic so is not as ur usually hotel but the price is affordable.

This is a very new hotel. The room is very clean and has no peculiar smell. The location is also very good. There is a supermarket and a newly opened food center near the center. There is also a newly opened restaurant in the hotel, so it is very convenient to stay here. I will stay here next time. Come again.
