The outside and communal areas are a bit dirty and grubby, but the room was clean and comfortable.
Would recommend staying there.

Arrived Sunday evening after a long drive, only to find nobody home. The place seemed deserted. Rang the bell. No reply. Where was the cosy bar advertised on the website? The friendly hosts? Rang the hotel number only to be told that Sundays reception was closed, as was the bar. Something about having left instructions for how to register. My impression as well as that of my travelling companion, was that the place was not fresh, it conjured a sensation of mould and stagnation. One unhappy guest appeared and advised that his room was not okay. Moreover, it being Sunday, there was no food. So if you are looking for this kind of experience, even just to overnight, go ahead and book. Otherwise, run for your life.

Wonderbox stay with dinner and breakfast: we were treated to a hot dish (simple menu but good and effective). No drinks, no dessert or starter. Very good breakfast, strong point. Room 37 2 single beds very small bathroom very small. Cleanliness to improve (carpet wall structure) otherwise bedding ok. Muddy parking lot in wet weather, watch out for suitcase wheels or heels. Open to animals great for waking up!!! Insulation limits road noise and early morning departures of workers. Very friendly welcome at the start of your stay, much less breakfast. Well positioned for visiting Ghent, close to the motorway+++ well-proportioned parking. Be careful, no elevator.

Convenient location for visiting Ghent when you have a vehicle. We had mosquitoes in the room and a persistent smell of sewer. The hotel overlooks a party hall. Which means that the night is not particularly relaxing with the sound of bass.

We made a last minute reservation and despite this the hotel received us in the best possible way. Very good reception, the room was taken very quickly, the place was ideal for us.
