This hotel remains the best on the island for now. It is located in a magnificent wooded park where we fell asleep with the sounds of the night and woke up by the songs of birds, it was a joy. The room is a spacious villa and tastefully decorated in the Khmer style of flea market spirit. The swimming pool is very beautiful, the restaurant delicious and the staff totally adorable. That said, the room (the plumbing) would need small renovations to keep its charm. For the moment the location is unique but it risks quickly suffering the competition of small very pretty guesthouses where we eat deliciously well and where the atmosphere is more friendly and less hushed. A beautiful address but very expensive compared to the guesthouses around (we successively tested the two types of accommodation). To summarize, it is not a luxury hotel but more of a cottage, it remains the most comfortable address.

Lovely place and the staff are lovely and very helpful and welcoming. My only fault with the hotel was, No kettle to make a hot drink and no refrigerator in the room to keep drinks cold.

Met het pondje ga je over van Kratie naar Koh Trong. Daar wachtte het personeel van het hotel op ons. Zij namen onze koffers en we werden naar het hotel gereden. Bij aankomst krijg je een welkomst drankje bij het prachtige grote zwembad. De villa’s staan op stelten maar het is donker. Ze hebben wel horren, klamboe en een ventilator maar het voelt bedompt. Douchen doe je in een losstaande bad. Ontbijt is erg simpel. Lunchen en avondeten is lekker met genoeg keuze. Zorg voor eigen vermaak. Je kunt een fiets huren voor 2 dollar om het eiland te zien. Het is maar 10 km. Personeel spreekt weinig Engels.

Bungalow de taille moyenne. En teck. Lit très très dur assez inconfortable. Moustiquaire petite aussi difficile à installer. Salle de bain avec baignoire mais pas de rideaux de douche . On met de l'eau partout Personnel aimable mais ne comprenant pas bien l'anglais. Dinerplus que moyen .

This was a nice little family hotel. An atmosphere of beeing in the jungle 😄 Nice hot pool and very huge Rooms. Our apartment had to bathrooms and seperate bedrooms. Og was absoluely perfect. The staff was very sweet and polite. Our best recommendations.

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans une villa. Avec difficulté nous avons pu rejoindre l’hôtel via leur Tuk tuk, compliqué de se faire comprendre. L’accueil est chaleureux. Le site est superbe, de belles villas de style Khmer avec de jolis mobiliers, noyé dans une belle végétation. Les chambres = villas sont spartiates, mal aérées, il y fait très chaud, les ventilateurs sont à la peine. L’éclairage est vraiment insuffisant, rien que des ampoules qui éclairent seraient un mieux! Pas de coffre dans la chambre à notre arrivée il a fallu en demander un. Les jeunes personnes qui s’occupaient de l’hôtel lors de notre passage avaient beaucoup de mal à s’exprimer en anglais, il faudrait les former, étonnant pour un établissement qui n’accueille que des touristes! La piscine est grande et belle mais pas entretenue (trouble 2 jours sur 3), dommage ! Le petit déjeuner est médiocre à l’exception des crêpes. Le restaurant est par contre qualité avec des prix raisonnables, et la carte des bons-coktails est belle.

Dit resort geeft mixed feelings. De ligging is prachtig op het eiland in mekong river. Receptie prima. Vriendelijke mensen. Waar het resort echt tekort schiet is het comfort van de huisjes waar je overnacht. Donker en muf weinig ventilatie. Tenzij je de ramen wagenwijd open zet. Maar dan lopen de insecten zo binnen. Er is een muskietennet. Want huisjes zijn niet volledig dicht. Ik snap dat men de koloniale stijl wil behouden. Maar met wat meer licht. Aankleding en horren zou het een stuk beter worden. Tenslotte matrassen zijn knetterhard. Niet te doen. . Houd er rekening mee dat het personeel weinig engels spreekt.
