I liked the room, in very good condition. There is everything you need, daily cleaning. Situated between two beaches, next to a pedestrian street, many shops. Breakfasts are simple, but passable. The beach in this area is not very good, had to swim to Railay (it is dirty and there are low tides) and from there walk to Phra Nang - there is a good beach.

Timber House was conveniently located right on the main road where many bars, restaurants, and shops were, and across the street from the beach. It was about 8 minute drive from the port, 40 minute drive to the Krabi Airport, and 1 mile walk to the Monkey Trail. My sister and I stayed in a double twin bed room, which was very spacious and the air conditioning worked well. We both became very ill with food poisoning our first night and the room was a comfortable place to be immobile for 48 hours. The water from the faucets and showers had a weird smell and taste, and the pool water was a strange shade of green at some points, but those were our only complaints with the hotel itself. The breakfast had a great selection (not for someone with food poisoning but under different circumstances we would’ve loved it), and the front desk was very helpful. I believe we could’ve booked excursions through them, but we did not try. If we weren’t so traumatized by our Krabi experience and were brave enough to revisit and risk a second round of food poisoning, we would definitely stay at Timber House again.

Convenient location of the hotel, between two beaches. All entertainment and food are within walking distance. The room is large, there is almost everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Abandoned hotel. Very dirty. The reception is miserable, dirty floors, peeling walls, dirty glass. The restaurant is terrible in all aspects. Only the rooms are normal, but due to the fact that they can’t clean anything here properly, the only clean things are linen and towels. We stayed one night, ran away as if scalded. The worst hotel I’ve seen in Thailand.
