Grand Mercure Krabi Ao Nang

Good location and all of staff so nice and helpful,breakfast very good.We had dinner at hotel Italian food the pizza was good. Room very clean and bed very comfortable TV quiet big we love that feels like we at home,We’ll come back again.

Great place to stay , cosy and nearby I got a lot of good foods . Will stay here in future when I revisit Krabi

The location is the best part about this hotel. Most rooms will have a good view due to the layout. The property staff are nice and the outdoor staff are very helpful and pleasent. The admin staff are very confused and disorganized, we weren't given any direction when checked in and never told what room were we were in. It seemed like lack of training and poor instinct for customer service in general. In one instance the front desk asked me to solve a problem myself. For a Mercure property this is a maze of a design. The finishes are incomplete or poorly done and rushed. It's a fairly new property so things are not worn out yet, but still paint, caulking, fixtures are terribly finished. The property is big and you have to walk up and down stairs take elevators and more stairs to get to the pool, breakfast and the gym is in a different building altogether. To exit the property you can walk the maze or call a shuttle. I found lizard or mouse droppings on my room which was still there after a cleaning. See picture... The floor tile in the bathroom retains moisture poorly and sweats, so the floor is slippery and wet. There is not grip when wearing the in house slippers provided. Breakfast is basic and not interesting, there is better cheaper options street-side if you can find your way of the property. This is my first Mercure property experience and I wouldn't stay here again. Bed and pillows are comfortable.

Great hotel. Nice and clean room. Excellent service from Mr. Tawan and team. We like the swimming pool a lot..Will be back again. Just one thing, the floor is very slippery when wet especially during the rainy season, I almost fell down twice. Hope that the management can do something about the slippery floor. Keep up the good work. Cheers....

From the moment we arrived the staff are so friendly and welcoming they are all a credit to the hotel. My husband and I loved staying at The Grand Mecure we were in krabi last year and stayed at Hotel Adam but we preferred this. The room are beautiful the bed and pillows are so comfortable lots of room, we got our room moved and had sea view block c would definitely recommend. Breakfast was fantastic so much choice definitely something for everyone we tried things we would not normally eat for breakfast and it was delicious. Before we headed out in the evening we took advantage of bogof cocktails and Dew made an excellent cocktail and is so friendly. We will 100% be returning to this hotel when we are next in Krabi!!

The hotel is new and well located, with everything you need nearby. The staff kindly upgraded my room to a Deluxe room with a wonderful view. I would recommend it and back again.
