Nice and nice hotel Nice swimming pool Impressed when entering the room for the first time. Get a light fragrance Makes you feel relaxed, clean hotel, lovely maids. Suitable for relaxation. The service staff in the restaurant are all lovely. Especially the restaurant manager, good service, very cute, take care of customers very well, reception men and driver. Very cute, good service, ready to help I am impressed, but I would like to deduct 1 star Because when booking the room, I wrote a request that I asked for a quiet room Which thinks that the hotel should see and arrange the room as requested, but when I really stayed On the first night, it was quite noisy because the room doesn't keep much sound. When someone playing in the water, they will hear the sound. But we are still ok Because the sound is not so loud that we can't sleep But when staying for the second night There are new customers who stay in the room above. That day, we went diving and when we came back in, quite shocked. because the noise is very loud. Running and playing in the room, smashing our feet. At first, we thought it would be late. He may not sleep at all. But when the time passed until 4-5 p.m. There were children running and climbing the balcony. smashing the door in front of the balcony loudly in the hotel. Which we felt starting to stand Unable Therefore went to show the staff He called the customer for you. Quiet for a while Until we were going to sleep, there was a running and playing in the room Almost all night But I think I can still bear it because it is still lighter than the sound of smashing the balcony door Until in the morning, I was shocked to wake up because a child climbed in front of the room. I feel very uncomfortable And have to wake up because of the extreme noise Both the sound of running on the room The sound of running in front of our room climbed in front of our room I felt uneasy at all, so I had gone to inform the staff. Which the reception lady (morning Shift) has received the matter But doesn't look very careful Not very careful what we have to know So we went to talk to the organizer. The restaurant, which he is very cute. He apologized to us And listen to what we said Until we felt good and impressed him But I want the hotel to pay attention to the customer's request a little Because when we stay The room is not full. Which if you arrange the room zone well I think this kind of event would not happen to other guests. Thank you.

I had a good experience at the Hotel. The staff is really nice. The construction is a bit outdated and you can see that the way is the resort was thought of didn't play out in reality (or perhaps after covid). They have all of the luxuries to be an up-star resort, that would probably be more expensive. But the current price doesn't allow for such a resort to flourish and doesn't attract those kind of people that want to make use/pay for the facilities.
Therefore, renovation of these facilities is needed but not done. What is done, is done in a more economical manner. For example, the water filter at the second pool is a big machine that stands at the edge of the pool and makes a lot of noise.
Also, breakfast is okay but doesn't fit the status that the resort pretents to have. I was at a $15,- hotel in Narathiwat last week that more availability of Thai food.
Furthermore, I just had to call 3x times and walk to reception myself the fourth time to discover that my water cooker was working, while I though it wasn't. Also this equipment was old, so you had to flip it in a certain way to make it work. If somebody would have told me the first time, I wouldn't have had to spend so much time calling and going to the reception for it.
Concluding: it looks nice but not as beautiful as on the pictures... service is okay, breakfast decent and the staff are nice. Overall, the resort fits the amount per night ($50). But it doesn't need to pretend to be more than it is.

The best thing about this resort is the location. The hotel sits right on the beach. The area is quiet but there are some nice restaurants around. The hotel itself needs some upgrades as it is a bit dated but it is well maintained. If you want a quiet, relaxed atmosphere in Krabi we definitely recommend this place. Transport can be problematic and a bit costly but if you order a grab in advance they usually show up.

Shellsea was a beautiful hotel, clean and the room was spacious! It was non-peak season while we were there so there weren't many people around - we got the family pool to ourselves one morning! The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We requested their favour to drop us off at a nearby restaurant 300m away and they did. Only complain I would have is that it's further away from Ao Nang so transportation might be an issue. The hotel does offer free shuttle service to/from Aonang three times a day. We relied on Grab car to get by. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay with our 6 month old son!

Still a good place to stay for a couple of days. Hotel are placed a little outside from Krabi Town, but there are a lot of restaurants around the Hotel. For now, a construction is going on. They are building a new reception, new Café and not to forget a new swimming pool. According to the manager they hope to be finish in November. We will be back at next year. We look forward to stay at the hotel and the new thing once again. According to manager, the hotel will have breakfast and buffet again, when renovation is finish. Note Hotel is SHA+ approved. Kind regards Lone and Kim Denmark

A friend who has lived in Krabi for 30 years recommended The Greenry to me. I was considering booking on Riley Island and enjoy the beaches (at 2000 to 3000 Thai baht per night). That rins about 60 to 100 usd per night. So grateful I stayed her in Krabi Town. I have gone to Ao Nong beach 3 days in a row. The resturants are great along the beach. I can walk, bike or grab a (Rot Thaw) which is so cheap. The back of it has side seating and it is about 50-60 baht (about $1,50 usd) If you want to go alone than its more. I love this place. Nothing fancy but the owner Bang speaks English and they have a great staff. There is an elevator and stairs for their 4 floors. There is no iron or blow dryer. Bring your own. They do not serve breakfast but from what I can see, they must have before Covid. Have grace as these hotels get back on their feet. I paid 500 Thai baht per night. That's $15 per night. The rooms are a good size. There is lovely outdoor tropical seating/tables and chairs to sit under ceiling fans. It's worth it! This may be my regular place to stay. Lot's of highly rated restaruants and cafe's in walking distance. Very Covid safe and Sha approved!
Located in Krabi Town, City Hotel is a perfect starting point from which to explore Krabi. Both business travelers and tourists can enjoy the hotel's facilities and services. Facilities like car park, airport transfer, tours, laundry service, concierge are readily available for you to enjoy. Guestrooms are fitted with all the amenities you need for a good night's sleep. In some of the rooms, guests can find closet, towels, clothes rack, television LCD/plasma screen, mirror. The hotel offers various recreational opportunities. Friendly staff, great facilities and close proximity to all that Krabi has to offer are three great reasons you should stay at City Hotel.

We enjoyed our stay a lot and probably would have stayed two days even more, but unfortunately they were booked out. We also had a special request in our booking and they didn’t ignore it. In the room you have everything that you need - a fridge, TV and even a hairdryer. Most important part is the bed and we liked it a lot..I read before we went that some people found the bed very hard, but for us it was perfect and we had a very good sleep. WiFi worked great (watched Netflix without problems) and room was very clean - no strange stains on the sheets or anything like that. Also the location is ideal for Krabi town, because in front of the hotel there is a market where you can get food (rice with crispy chicken and salad) starting from 35 Baht and 7/11 is just next to the hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

Outstanding
GGuest UserDusit Thani turned out to be our best decision when we planned our trip to krabi. It’s one of the best resorts we stayed in till date. The property is huge but in a stay of just 2 days, we couldn’t even roam around the whole property. Room size is decent, nice washroom, good amenities, okay breakfast for a Indian, not too good for a vegetarian(must hire a Indian chef), but room service, reception staff and all Hotel staff were really good. Swimming pool is amazing. Beach area is just beautiful even at night. The resort beach is a sunset beach so no need to go anywhere else to see the beautiful sunset in krabi. The best of this resort is the Photography Team Ahmed and Marwah. They were the best thing happened to us in Krabi. Thankyou Dusit Thani for making this possible for having Ahmed and Marwah there for us and film us so well that we got the best memories captured for our lifetime. The photo shoot done by Ahmed and Video created by Marwah (an actual surprise) was so amazing that we will cherish all our life. The sunset photography, the beautiful dress and the amazing film created made our whole trip the best till date. Thanks Champions Ahmed and Marwah.. hope to meet you guys on all our trips in future.
GGuest UserWe had an amazing visit! Would definitely return! You must realize that you are staying basically in the jungle. You don't need fancy clothes. You don't even need shoes. Getting there takes time and you need to plan ahead with flights and boat transfers. We were there during ”off” season, so this information could change during high season. (Check other reviews.) There was not any entertainment, which was perfect for us! We came to rest and relax and enjoy the beach. We read books, swam, walked, ate, exercised, slept. Best vacation ever. 1) When I go to a beach resort, the most important thing is THE BEACH. This beach is gorgeous, the sand is golden, the water is clear and beautiful. The swim area is very generous and cleared of large rocks. No trash or debris. You can also go outside the swim area and snorkel near the rocks that are in front of the neighboring resort. Lots of lounge chairs with a bean-bag type cushion and large umbrellas. If chairs are taken, they also have mats that lay on the ground but with a back cushion. They were very comfortable. 2) The other thing that makes or breaks a hotel stay is the comfort of the bed, and the room in general. The bed was perfect -- not too hard, not too soft. The rooms are individual teak wood buildings and have thatched roofs. The room has air conditioning. The beds have mosquito nets, but I didn't feel like we needed them during our stay. There is a beautiful breezeway porch with chairs and cushions, then an enclosed bathroom with toilet, sink & shower. There is a separate outdoor shower behind a wooden wall. Also an outdoor sink attached to a dressing table with chair and mirror plus outlet. If you have long hair that you usually dry, I would make plans NOT to do so. It is too hot and the hair dryer is not really for styling. (ours only had high setting and it made my hair look crazy) 3) Food/Dining - The resort had a large dining area where an amazing breakfast buffet spread was served daily. We were able to get lattes with several different types of milk (regular, almond, soy). There were western choices and traditional Thai choices. Fresh eggs to order. The other restaurant is on the beach. You can get lunch/snacks and dinner there (special occasions or rain would move to the breakfast area). For dinner there were delicious Thai choices. They also had western/American food, but we ate Thai at all meals except a hamburger & fries once for lunch. 4) Drinks/Alcohol - We're not big drinkers, but I felt they had an adequate range of alcohol to make a variety of drinks/cocktails. I don't usually like sugary drinks, but the ones they serve in the fresh coconut and the fresh pineapple were delicious. They also had a fair selection of wines. We don't drink beer, but they did offer it. 5) Spa/Gym - We had Thai massages that were wonderful. There's a workout room with some free weights and several machines (elliptical, treadmill, rower). Very nice. 6) - Pool - beautiful pool that
JJelenaOur stay at BlueSotel Hotel during our honeymoon was a journey of highs and lows that left us with mixed feelings. One of the first hurdles was the check-in process, which begins at 3pm, an hour later than most hotels. This minor inconvenience was somewhat mitigated by the hotel's gesture to let us wait by the pool. However, the welcome drink offered, essentially sugar water colored blue, felt underwhelming rather than refreshing.
The room awaited us with a delightful surprise that brightened our mood instantly. In acknowledgment of our special occasion, we found elegant swan-shaped towels forming a heart adorned with rose petals on the bed. This thoughtful decoration truly made us feel celebrated and added a touch of romance to our honeymoon.
While the breakfast included with our stay saved us from the concerns of dining expenses, it didn't quite meet our expectations in variety and quality, especially when compared to other resorts like the Sea Seeker, known for its wide selection and fresher options, including homemade pastries.
Regarding amenities, the spa and massage area stood out for its steep prices, notably higher than what one might find at local establishments offering services at a more reasonable rate. The pool area, pleasant for leisure, came with stringent towel policies that seemed excessive; towels were not accessible before 9:30 am without a 100 baht fee at the reception, an inconvenience we found peculiar.
On a positive note, the hotel enjoys a strategic location near Aonang Beach, surrounded by numerous dining options, making it a convenient base for exploring the area.
In summary, BlueSotel Hotel offered moments of joy and comfort for our honeymoon, especially with the room's romantic setup. However, there's a significant room for improvement in terms of dining options and amenity pricing to enhance the overall guest experience. The hotel's potential shines through its thoughtful gestures and excellent location, yet a balance in service and value could elevate it to truly match the special occasions it hosts.
GGuest UserWhen we booked this resort there was a really shortage of reviews available and so hopefully this provides some information to help potential visitors. In short this is an amazing place that we’d thoroughly recommend; it was incredible value and more than met up to our expectations! Overall resort The resort is tucked away off a main road so feels very peaceful but is also walkable to a seven eleven and a couple of nearby restaurants. On site is a main restaurant that at time of writing is open for breakfast and dinner, as well as a really brilliant cafe that’s open during the day and sells coffee, and a range of meals as well. There is also a small but we’ll equipped gym with basically brand new equipment and one of the longest nicest swimming pools slap back in the middle of the resort; alongside a pool bar where snacks and drinks are also served. Given we are staying over Christmas the resort is super quiet; presumably a result of Thailand only recently reopening post-Covid Staff and service Staff have been generally really friendly and helpful; there aren’t millions of them which I guess reflects the low occupancy but they’ve helped us every time we have asked for anything and service in the restaurant has been polite, friendly and efficient Room We are staying in 3101 and 3102 which together make a vast family villa which is just perfect for ourselves and our eleven year old; he can have space to himself but also be around us whenever he wants. The rooms are to a proper, high, five star standard in almost every way. Great coffee machine, relatively inexpensive minibar, huge bed, an outdoor overwater seating area (well two one for us and one for our child), two outdoor baths, ample storage, modern tvs, everything you could ask for. Food Breakfast is good; with an egg station, a range of Asian food, fruit, etc. it’s not as extensive as many Western resort breakfasts but you should find something to most tastes. The main menu is delicious; we’ve been really really happy with everything we’ve eaten so far, some off the scale nice curries. The menu is also really good for children, with burgers, pizza, spaghetti bolognaise all available and done really well Ambience The place is beautifully laid out and the lagoon adds an incredible atmosphere, with the whole resort set up against a mangrove jungle area. We travel a lot (my wife runs a travel business) but the resort is really quite different from anywhere we’ve stayed before, and in my mind all the better for it. Things to improve A few bits were slightly negative; the shower pressure and temperature is pretty variable so they could improve this; we arrived early before our room was ready so we didn’t get a chance to go to the room by gondola which was a really cool thing they offer normally on arrival and we’d have really loved. Strangest of all is that they don’t serve alcohol; this wasn’t a massive problem for us as we’re not huge drinkers. It’s also easily solved as
BBewty RequireVery good service The area in the room and the balcony in front of the room are non-smoking. Can only smoke in front of the building There is a watchman at night. There is a coffee shop in front of the building where you can sit.
DDavid MosherWe had a wonderful stay at this well maintained hotel. The pool was amazing and close to the beach. Staff were very friendly and it had a standard hotel breakfast. Booking of activities were possible form the front desk. The location was great for watching the sunrise. One downside was the day tours that drop hundreds of people right next to this hotel’s beach. We just moved to the amazing infinity pool for peace and quiet. Something to consider if you are looking for a quiet beach all day.
GGuest UserWe stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel staff were all amazing and very helpful. They collected us from the pier with our bags and carried them directly to the room, and the same leaving the island. The hotel is all individual tree top cabins. This can be a hike/long walk up a hill to the room depending on which one you stay in. The hotel is located on the beach with a private beach which is lovely. You can walk across the beach for 3 minutes to the main path around Phi Phi. 5 minute walk from the hotel to restaurants/shops. Taking 15 minutes to walk to the pier. Or you can get a tail boat taxi directly from the hotel beach to take you around the island or day trips. The hotel’s breakfast was 5/10. The average buffet style breakfast. The pool bar doesn’t exist when we were there and doesn’t look like it has been open in a long time. The rooms were cleaned everyday. I would not recommend the hotel for young children or people with reduced mobility.
DD’Gone InternationalHotel itself is really nice, location is great; right at the center and best part is, the noise doesn’t get to the room so if you decide to stay-in it won’t bother you despite being right in the middle of the action. The pool’s size is enough and the kind of “infinity pool” has a great view to the bay. Straight Access to the beach and bars and have lots of green and the villas rooms you feel you are in the jungle. I stayed at the superior room within PP Princess although is just next to PP Charlie… room was not big and no balcony but was enough for my 3 nights stay. My first impression at reception was really bad, they need to work on ‘Customer Service’ the woman at reception had a long face and an attitude, then she could not find my paid reservation and she was demanding me to pay again — she got really rude when I refused and I showed her it shown as paid. She rolled her eyes at me and left me there without saying a word to get her manager. Manager had a better attitude and she accepted it was hotel’s mistake and apologized. Once arrived to the port, staff from hotel help you with luggage (see photo). My favourite part of hotel was the pool!! Hotel offers some excursions although around the island there are lots of agencies that offer better pricing and more options, just stroll around to compare. I didn’t get the breakfast, only paid for the first morning and to be honest the quality and variety could improve — not bad but there other better options at a walking distance. They have another “secret pool” which entrance is by the beach and is on a higher level (see photo) some rooms have direct access to it — I found that area was a bit neglected and old hence I preferred the main pool.
GGuest UserWe stayed here for 12 nights in march 2023. We have no bad things to say about this hotel - the rooms are lovely, the pool is amazing with beautiful views of greenery and the sunset. Breakfast is very peaceful as you sit looking out over the view, and was quiet each day we ate. We tried the floating breakfast one morning which cost 300 baht (around £7.50 for 2 people). This was lovely and felt very luxurious. There is a free shuttle to and from the beach/high street however we decided to rent a motorbike from reception which at first we were sceptical about getting it up and down the hill with 2 people on but we did it multiple times a day with no issues. The staff were very helpful, sorting our airport transfers and motorbike quickly, and the maids were very kind too. Overall we would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area and want to stay somewhere with luxury for a good price. Thank you, Andakiri!!
FFlyer53297We had a 3 day stay at Nadivana Serviced Apartments. We booked a small room which was at the back of the property which we didn't mind at all. The room was clean and large with a great shower. Coffee available in the room and if you wanted there were all kinds of things in the ”mini bar” available for purchase rather than running to a store. It's a bit further away from the beach but there are shuttles every 2 hours going to the beach and it's nice to be away from all the heavy tourist activity anyway. We were able to try some different beach areas which suited us very well. Simen the owner was very helpful with questions about the area, Thailand, or even to help with minor issues in the apartment. The pool is very nice and we loved it! It has a small pool bar where we sat one night and chatted with other occupants. The food was very good at dinner and the breakfast was a great value as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nadivana and would book it again if were were to return to Krabi.
