Ikos Aria

Being our second visit to Ikos Aria we were very much looking forward to it as our first visit in 2022 was nothing short of perfect. What has blown us away during and after our second visit is that perfection has been exceeded. From arrival to departure we have been treated to exceptional service from every single staff member we had the pleasure to be in contact with. The rooms are immaculate as is the whole site, stunning gardens, delicious food in all restaurants and all on a perfect beach front location. I cannot recommend enough Ikos Aria, in fact family members and friends have been on our recommendation and had the same outstanding experience and are now what could be considered regulars. 5 stars from us. Our second Ikos resort stay and the first (Dassia) was superb this one was better still. Location, staff and food can’t be beaten. We have only ever booked delux and it’s more than worth the extra spend. Too many great staff to name they all deserve recognition.

Amazing return visit to our favourite IKOS. Stayed in a deluxe one bed bungalow with private pool utterly amazing. Enjoyed every meal in the different restaurants. The staff were incredible as always - great to see stavros again in frescos. Thomas from deluxe concierge really looked after us. I asked for a particular wine in a restaurant that they don’t have , it was no problem I was only asking. The next day when I was having dinner on the beach I was told a wine had been selected for me. It was the wine - they had ordered it in! What amazing service. All staff were wonderful I wish I had taken down more names.

the place was overall really good the staff are nice and majority of the time say hello to u when they walk past, the food is excellent and the buffet has loads of options so do all the restraunts on the resort , there’s a lot of actives on the resort such as paddle boarding , pilates , and so many more activities to choose from , it’s a great place to go with family and friends they have a kids club and a teens club and other clubs u can go to but only for certain ages

This is our 3rd time to Ikos Aria. We had an amazing holiday yet again and cannot fault anything!!! The staff are exceptional and cannot do enough for you. Very personable and a special mention to Florin and Maria in Seasons and Ioannis Buzi for making a difference. ⭐️ The evening shows were as professional as London shows (I hope they get to return next season?!!) In summary 10/10 for everything.

This was my 6th visit to an Ikos having been to Oceania, Dassia, Andulusia and 2nd time to Aria. Ikos became my go to all inclusive after the first few as no other hotel could surpass the resorts for accommodation, grounds, food, facilities, service and value. Having been to Aria last year, there were a few things which weren't quite right this time. I am not sure if this was because the resorts have become so popular combined with being end of season, so the resort has somewhat not paid attention to these. Our room was great, junior suite with sea view, spacious, clean and lots of wardrobe space. However, there were some issues in the room which were rectified as soon as possible but these should not have occurred in the first place given the high standards of Ikos. The food was great but a disappointment was having concentrated orange juice at breakfast at Flavors rather than fresh. Every Ikos I had visited previously had fresh orange juice and this is what should be provided. It had to be ordered separately. The pools were far too cold and although they say heated, it is at 23c which may be fine for summer but not when it gets cooler. As a result, there were only a few people swimming and some children. The sea was in fact warmer. This is such a shame as the pools are beautiful and we would have loved to use them more. The temperature needs to be turned up as what may be suitable in summer is not the same as in October. There needs to be more dedicated adult areas. Ikos is a family resort, I have a son and have been to Ikos when he was younger. However, there are couples/adults without children and to have them running everywhere, screaming is not very relaxing. There were children jumping up and down on the chairs in the lobby/restaurants. This is not the fault of Ikos but all guests should be considered. As some other reviewers have said, an Ikos - adults only would be great. Some of the beach towels need replacing, some were frayed and stained. The bathroom towels used to be a lot thicker and fluffier but were of a standard at a 4 star hotel. The dressing gowns were also a bit frayed. These are the little things which made Ikos stand out before as the quality of everything was superb. The staff are fabulous and special mentions go to Dimitris, the general manager, Meryen - reception, Filip - Ananya, Anna and Razwin in Flavors. Ikos is my favourite brand, the above just needs to be looked at to regain and maintain the same standard across the resorts.

My family and I had such a wonderful time over half term at the Ikos Aria. We had a beautiful suite on the beach and we loved the twice daily visits to make sure all was in order. We ate at all the restaurants except the French one. Seasons and Ouzo were the best by far (Marta deserves a mention she is quite exceptional). Olivia was disappointing but the rest were nice. We spent a lot of time at the beach and Dimitris is quite honestly the best. We always felt really well looked after by him and the team. The beach itself is gorgeous and although the resort was full, it didn’t feel crowded. It’s shallow sea so perfect for little ones and some great views of a beautiful church and some ruins. Our kids went to the kids club and crèche and were really happy there. I also had the best massage I’ve ever had I only wish I could remember his name but it was a lovely experience. Aaron who drives the buggies was a definite highlight and we loved his energy. The negative for us was that we all left sick. My son full of cold, my daughter with a really high fever, and me with a vomiting bug. Was such a shame for us to end a lovely week like that.

I don't usually write reviews for Ikos as I would just be repeating the 100s of rave reviews already posted. However, on this visit one of the staff asked that we mention them in despatches so in this instance we felt compelled to honour our promise. Before calling out names I stress that all the staff were brilliant but there were a few we had most contact with that we would like to call out.
