Atlantica Thalassa Hotel

This was our tenth visit I believe, we stayed for four weeks from last two weeks in September and the first two weeks in October and we have booked again for next year (that's how good this hotel is.) What's great about this hotel is that it is relatively small and intimate where new friends are easily made, unlike some of the larger all inclusive hotels. The rooms are very nice, clean and the beds are very comfortable. O.k. some people say it's a little tired, however there is a refurb program due to begin this November. As such I have no doubt it will be even better next year. The food is excellent and always changing, you get an eclectic mix as people from various countries come to stay. The staff team are the best we have known, friendly, efficient, always smiling and helpful. The entertainment team headed by Jason really made our stay so much fun, such a great sense of humour. (Hope he is back for next year). This hotel is a good 40 minute walk from Kos town but there is a good bus service which cost this year 2 Euro each way. I you are out late in town you can get a taxi from Dolphin Square for 10 Euro. You can also hire bikes and cars should you so wish. If you book you wont be disappointed. So enjoy. I think the hotel is lovely, it is very easy to get around and has everything you need! The staff are fantastic from the bar staff (mirella especially she grafted her backside off daily) the restaurant staff & reception staff are very friendly. I came on this holiday solo and met so many nice people.. a few of us are going to come back around the same time next year to meet up. The pool is clean and so are the grounds… I LOVE the pool dance that is done a few times around the pool daily! To say the hotel only has two animators the programme is good… James & Jess really made the holiday for me, they are both very good at what they do and they made me feel very comfortable & made me want to get involved everyday. The food is what you expect from an all inclusive holiday (buffet style) they had a good selection, there is something for everyone. The hotel is getting a glow up over the winter so I can’t wait to come back next year and see what it’s like! Overall an amazing holiday 🙌🏼

First time to any of the Greek Isles certainly not our last.Hotel ticked all the boxes for us as wanted something on a smaller scale for a change .Room was fine and cleaned 5 times ,food was excellent both of us meat free and always managed to find something, all the staff worked tirelessly especially Llinia ? and Chris pool bar and big thank you to Mirela lobby bar . James and Jess who didn't stop on entertainment but never pushy to get people to join in .Sure somethings could be improved and I'm sure it will get a bit of a makeover over during the winter months, our last night here weather has been excellent and a great day around pool had a singer guitarist Arris? hopefully the hotel will keep him on next year too just what's needed to chill round the pool in the sun.Special mention to the cats who are so lucky to have such a nice place to stay and they make sure you know it they just chill in the the lovely lobby bar and really are gorgeous unless your not a cat lover.

Our third visit, this time with my husbands sister & her husband. Usual great standards apart from a few things i.e. poor accessibility for disabled. Food had less choices than last year. bed uncomfortable. entertainment this time was the worst ever, most nights was karaoke &/or quiz. didn’t see any live acts all week.

Just got home from a holiday staying at the Atlantica Thalassa, be booked last minute and wasn’t sure what to expect but we were beyond happy. Upon arrival the hotel is beautiful and very clean, the staff work hard to keep the hotel in top condition, From the groundsmen to the housekeeping to the waiting staff. The receptionist was so lovely and helpful. My little one was given a snack and a drink, when checking out too we were told we could still go and have lunch or go to the bar whilst we waited. She’s such a lovely woman. The restaurant opens 3 times a day and there’s always loads of options, from salad bars to meats, to vegetable dishes then things like pizza, chips, breads. The staff in the restaurant are such hard working people and items are cleaned off the tables and reset immediately. So thank you to you all you are appreciated! The bars offer a wide range of drinks from hot chocolates to cocktails. The room was absolutely fine, the bathroom was lovely, we had a little balcony, it was cleaned everyday and I wouldn’t personally expect anything else from a holiday room. There’s a few activities on site such as a kids playroom, tennis court, beach volleyball and then activities held by the entertainment team. The pools can be a little chilly, but I’d expect that in October, theyre not heated but fine once you’re in! The kids playroom may need a little tlc but then toddlers don’t particularly care as long as there’s toys! It’s a 5/10 minute walk to the beach depending if you’ve got little legs with you and you can rent beach chairs for €3. There’s a bus stop outside the hotel to go into the town which is about 15 minutes give or take on how busy it is. Overall so happy, I want to acknowledge the people that work so hard everyday at the hotel thank you for giving us an amazing holiday!

Lovely traditional Greek hotel with friendly staff and beautifully maintained grounds. Rooms are basic but clean (like the rest of the hotel) Food is good and plenty of choice. Walk into Kos is about 40 mins or you can get the bus right outside of the hotel which takes 10 mins. The island is stunning and we hired a car for the day (60 euros) and travelled all over easily as roads are very quiet and easy to navigate. Would defiantly return to the island and hotel. Perfect hotel for those who hate the large, soulless hotels that lack character and warmth.

We arrived at 1am and were provided with sandwiches, drinks and snacks. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent in both choice and variety. The room was comfortable and clean. The entertainment in the evenings was great and the daytime activities were fun. I am not sure where James gets his energy from, but it is infectious and both him and Myleene are a credit to the hotel. I would definitely recommend this place.

We arrived at 3 in the morning check in was fast and we were given a very welcome food parcel sandwiches crisps fruit and a drink. We had booked a family room 209 it was nice and large with very comfortable beds and spotless linen. Air con was good and a fridge , kettle ,mugs coffee sugar and cream provided. Bathroom was lovely great shower and very modern. Good hairdryer provided. The hotel is lovely with gorgeous grounds and a great pool. The food is delicious , tasty, plentiful with a fabulous variation myself and husband are vegetarian and the choice was great. My son who eats meat was very impressed as well the drinks were nice and the staff are so friendly and helpful Ali in the restaurant especially. Tennis court and table tennis are good. The little beach across the road is a nice change but definitely need some swim / beach shoes as very pebbly. The bus to Kos town is just outside. We walked to Lambi beach which took about 35 minutes.Fabulous holiday would definitely come again.

Hotel fine if a little outdated ,and rooms could definitely do with more plug sockets ,but rooms clean and tidy. Good is good tasty and plenty to choose from. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. The only negative I have at present(I am currently staying here at the moment) is the music around the pool is far too loud and only caters for the younger elements. And as the majority of hotel residents are older this music is not at all r lacing, booming out all over the pool area. We have taken to using sunbeds at the further end of the gardens to try and get away from the booming music which is played continually. This isn't great when you have come away r ok relax I so feel that this needs looking into
