It is not as tragic as they describe it. The rooms (at least ours) are large and very comfortable (much larger than the average room in a typical hotel). The decoration is indeed from another (older) era but this is not disturbing at all. The bathroom was super comfortable. The only thing that really bothers me is the lack of soundproofing. This is really a problem. For those who don't have an issue with sounds from the outside environment at night, I think it is a worthy choice (given the price). The guys at the reception are very kind. Of course the location is the most convenient for exploring the city on foot. I think that for a two-day stay the hotel is satisfactory!!
