The check-in desk was well staffed when I arrived & my lack of Japanese & decent IT skills wasn’t an issue. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the only thing I didn’t love about the design of the dormitory was the steps to the upper bunks - they prevented wheeled bags being pushed easily past them (for unpacking & repacking). In other capsule hotels, the steps are built in to the front of the capsules, the don’t lean against them and take up floor space. On departure day (10 am check-out), I checked out at around 9.40 and made myself a Noodle Pot to eat at one of the tables opposite the desk, before leaving for an 11.06 Shinkansen.
