The check-in desk was well staffed when I arrived & my lack of Japanese & decent IT skills wasn’t an issue. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the only thing I didn’t love about the design of the dormitory was the steps to the upper bunks - they prevented wheeled bags being pushed easily past them (for unpacking & repacking). In other capsule hotels, the steps are built in to the front of the capsules, the don’t lean against them and take up floor space. On departure day (10 am check-out), I checked out at around 9.40 and made myself a Noodle Pot to eat at one of the tables opposite the desk, before leaving for an 11.06 Shinkansen. There are many places to eat in the surrounding streets, including izakayas, Korean BBQ, Chinese, and many Indian/Nepali places. The restaurants/pubs can be quite lively at night with people spilling into the streets to eat/drink/chat with their friends.
