Cookies Salad Resort

I stayed at Cookies Salad with my son last weekend. The place was very nice and cozy, room is spacious, clean. Staff are super friendly, helpful, and caring. My room has sea view, the place is shady, trees are well taken care of. The massage service there is also very nice. We really enjoy staying here. The place may not be suitable for elderly because it is quite steep.

This was our second time at Cookies and we really enjoy it. The villas are very characterful, clean and comfortable. The views are amazing. We end up spending a lot of time on our balcony and going nowhere. Breakfast is probably the only weak point, not the best I've had in Thailand, although they threw it in for free as we were returning guests, which was a nice touch. But would still definitely recommend.

We stayed in the waterfront villa. It was perfect for a few days relaxing with the family. View was spectacular. Beds were comfortable, plenty of space for a family of 5. Lovely kitchen area. Breakfast was superb, and only a few steps from the beach. AC was cold and water was hot. Lots of towels given and super clean! We didn’t leave the hotel much, but you would need a scooter or car to get around. A few restaurants on the beach, and a shop, but nothing else in the vicinity really. The hotel restaurant was fab, and really reasonably priced. Staff were lovely - a lady on the desk even helped me source a birthday cake for my son, which was lovely! Warning - there are MANY huge mosquitos in the resort, so take lots of bug spray! I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if I was looking at returning to Koh Phangan.

We liked our stay at cookies! We lived in private cottage with sea view and were very pleased with beds and the kitchen. The room also had tv and wifi that worked well. Because closeness to the nature we had trouble with ants invading all food and had som geckos inside, but thats what we think is normal for staying so close to nature. We would't have changed room anyways! The room had also big cooler and freezer. Breakfast was very nice for us who could eat everything. Maybe nice to have some yoghurt and for example musli or cornflakes aswell. For one of us with gluten intolerance it was more difficult with breakfast with no bread options but that we also understand somehow and he could est the fruit, eggs and warm food options mostly. Wery nice staff and helpful. We enjoyed our two weeks at this hotel. We also walked to the village nearby ,hat yao. The restaurants at salad beach were the best during our stay in thailand. We ate thaifood and it was absolutely the best! We could snorkle from the beach easily when not too much waves and it was close to for example koh ma and snorkling there. A bit long from thong sala and pretty expensive taxi/songthao to/from songthala for a family. During our 2 week holiday june/july we had a lot of sunshine and only little rain. A few cloudy days but that was nice to have a few cooler days. I would absolutely visit cookies again and the same villa we had close to the sea! This place wins on views of you get the right room. We stayed in cottage 8 and the views were spectacular. Restaurant food was very tasty and the staff were all polite but limited options for us we wanted a bit more Thai food options. There is a steep climb up out of the resort so some form of transport is needed we had a car and even that struggled on one of the hotter days to get up, not a good place if you have any problem’s uphill walking but they do tell you this. There were some minor improvements they could make to get this to. 5 star review eg working light outside bungalow and toaster would be good also not allowing bikes down by the cottages to reduce noise but we can’t really fault the views this place had and a great spot for snorkelling. We would return and had a pleasant stay.

Our stay at cookies salad was excellent we really liked the room...it was very clean and we had towels changed every day the staff was very friendly and met our expectations the breakfast was very good and the area in which the hotel is located is fantastic would prefer it again on our next holiday to koh phangan
