Hotels Near Kalingk in Kochi

Ginger at Kalamassery is conveniently located so I stay there regularly during my visits to Kochi, which s often every month. The staff at the reception are always warm and cheerful and welcoming. Including the security staff at the entrance - always smiling and helpful. I would say the same about the staff at the restaurant too. The rooms are comfortable and clean . A few times the room hadn’t been cleaned despite us being out and requesting it to be cleaned . I’m sure this can be looked into. Overall it’s a hotel I’d book each time I have to visit Kochi

The check-in experience with one of the staff members called as Mr.Jinu was extremely unpleasant. He asked whether I wanted to do advance or full payment to which I replied that I would prefer doing that during checkout as I would order food and other services and would pay combined for that. And the same is followed by many other hotels including 4 star hotels in the city. Even though this was a corporate booking done via Yatra for business, the staff person didn't know that and was asking for amount higher than what was mentioned on the tax invoice hotel voucher. He had to call another staff to recheck the amount and finally admitted that the amount on the hotel voucher with me was correct. After this the staff person suddenly changed and insisted that I pay the full payment only. The treatment I received was as if I would run away without payment. He kept on repeating - ”it's hotel rule”. Upon asking where the hotel rule is written or documented in your hotel policy, he had no answer and suddenly insisted that I cancel the booking. I was appalled at this kind of behaviour and treatment by a staff who works in a hospitality industry who treats customer in a hostile manner. Please do your research about the rules here. If anything is declared as a ”rule” or a policy, do ask for proof of its document. When I insisted on calling the manager, the manager said I could do payment in parts which was fine. But staff people treating people like theives is NOT OKAY. If hotel people are reading this review, kindly check the recording of the camera at your reception. Treating people like thieves when you are in hospitality industry is not at all okay. Hotel people should really pay attention to the reviews on Google page regarding treatment by staff. The lowest rating for this hotel have been mostly given for staff behaviour. They should train the staff to be more professional.

It was really good stay there, good service and especially good location.

I stayed with my wife and daughter, Overall my stay was perfect however I would like to highlight few things can be improved. Restaurant service is slow, food options are great , there were more than enough varieties orin the Buffet we always had the option to order from the Ala carte menu. I would like to say a big thank you to Sangeeta from the buffet restaurant . She was superb, as soon as we entered the restaurant she attends us with a big smile on the face. She know her job very well. Cleanliness- Room cleaning was done every morning when we leave for breakfast. our room cleaning guy Mr. Afazzudhin was the highlight. He always make sure our room is cleaned before we get back from Breakfast. He is a friendly and very professional I would give 5 star for cleanliness. Hassan & Family

The staff are friendly. The suite rooms are perfect. I don't think the hotel restaurant is bad, so I'm satisfied. Convenient for long stays.

I recently stayed at Fragrant Nature Kochi, and it was an incredible experience! The hotel's heritage architecture immediately transported me to another era, blending Kerala's charm with Portuguese influences in the most elegant way. My room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with an amazing view of the backwaters that I could never get enough of. Dining here was a treat. The food was exquisite—especially the Kerala dishes, which were bursting with authentic flavors. The rooftop infinity pool was one of my favorite spots, offering breathtaking views over the backwaters and city. I also tried the Prana Wellness Spa, and the Ayurvedic massage left me feeling completely rejuvenated. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay, offering thoughtful recommendations for sightseeing and always greeting me with a warm smile. The location in Fort Kochi was perfect for exploring the local history and culture. I’d recommend Fragrant Nature to anyone looking for a blend of luxury, history, and relaxation in Kochi!”

My wife and I had an amazing time at the Tissa's Inn. We booked the room last minute and they were very accommodating. The staff was all incredible, they were all very friendly and helped us with all our questions, helped us with taxis, and book a boat tour in Alleppey. We also loved the property itself. The entire hotel was spotless including our room, it was so clean and comfortable. The rooftop pool was one of my favorite features of the hotel, the water was clean and very refreshing. Breakfast was very good and they had many options. It was my birthday while we were staying here and the staff surprised me to help make it extra special. We also loved the location, walking distance to everything. I cant recommend staying here enough. I was in India for 3 weeks and stayed in many hotels and this was one of our favorites.

As always my stay is always comfortable and nice in Novotel (Kochi). Staffs are very humble ,supportive and kind specially Ms Reena who is always very kind and offering good hospitality and service. Location is also very nice and rooms are very comfortable to stay.

Hotel is more suited for business travellers as nearby corporates offices suggests. As a solo leisure traveller the hotel was not for me, in terms of sightseeing etc with everything futher away. Breakfast and dinner selection was somewhat limited but nice food. Prakash the waiter served with care and efficiency. At the Spa on one of the nights there was no one there at the reception to take queries as the one and only therapist was engaged with an appointment! So what does one do wait for hours to be atteneded to? As a sign suggested i left a message for a call back for an appointment, but got none.

The Artiste is a beautiful new hotel with great beds, a balcony with a wonderfull view and amazing staff. It is located in the new Forum Mall. The Artiste restaurant is beautiful and they serve amazing food. The staff in the restaurant is the best you can get. Top service and super friendly. Angel and Teena gave me the feeling I was very welcome and they served me like real angels.
