The stay was good the place is clean and well maintained. Access to amrita hospital is very much an advantage.

Although the location is slightly cheaper, the hotel facilities and sanitation are very good, the service and breakfast are also very good, rich, the hotel is very quiet, the staff is very thoughtful

The location and ambience is amazing. It is a compact property located in the heart of fort kochi, a heritage sight. It is close to almost all the must see places in that area. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The rooms are spacious and clean. Ideal for business travellers who would like to unwind after a hectic work week. The food is great and in sufficient quantity. The place is more worth than the rates they charge i guess.

I had a Business trip to kochi few days ago, And choosen ****** and my expectations didn't go wrong. This was the perfect place what I was looking for, serene, Peas full, elegant and a heritage Hotel located in Wellington island , Kochi, actually my meeting location was is downtown though I choose ****** Hotel by CGH, only because of its heritage and elegance. Beutiful room , very friendly and helpful staffs , we feel the warmth of hospitality when right enter through the security gate, front desk staffs were really amazing , very professional approach by whole team include Front desk, Resturant and housekeeping. Definitely visit back. Generally am not a person to write review but this time I had feeling to write something for their services, care and the Hospitality . Thank you team ****** by CGH.

Ginger at Kalamassery is conveniently located so I stay there regularly during my visits to Kochi, which s often every month. The staff at the reception are always warm and cheerful and welcoming. Including the security staff at the entrance - always smiling and helpful. I would say the same about the staff at the restaurant too. The rooms are comfortable and clean . A few times the room hadn’t been cleaned despite us being out and requesting it to be cleaned . I’m sure this can be looked into. Overall it’s a hotel I’d book each time I have to visit Kochi

The check-in experience with one of the staff members called as Mr.Jinu was extremely unpleasant. He asked whether I wanted to do advance or full payment to which I replied that I would prefer doing that during checkout as I would order food and other services and would pay combined for that. And the same is followed by many other hotels including 4 star hotels in the city. Even though this was a corporate booking done via Yatra for business, the staff person didn't know that and was asking for amount higher than what was mentioned on the tax invoice hotel voucher. He had to call another staff to recheck the amount and finally admitted that the amount on the hotel voucher with me was correct. After this the staff person suddenly changed and insisted that I pay the full payment only. The treatment I received was as if I would run away without payment. He kept on repeating - ”it's hotel rule”. Upon asking where the hotel rule is written or documented in your hotel policy, he had no answer and suddenly insisted that I cancel the booking. I was appalled at this kind of behaviour and treatment by a staff who works in a hospitality industry who treats customer in a hostile manner. Please do your research about the rules here. If anything is declared as a ”rule” or a policy, do ask for proof of its document. When I insisted on calling the manager, the manager said I could do payment in parts which was fine. But staff people treating people like theives is NOT OKAY. If hotel people are reading this review, kindly check the recording of the camera at your reception. Treating people like thieves when you are in hospitality industry is not at all okay. Hotel people should really pay attention to the reviews on Google page regarding treatment by staff. The lowest rating for this hotel have been mostly given for staff behaviour. They should train the staff to be more professional.

The hospitality industry is so profit driven it has lost its perspective on its true purpose. It is rare to find a great hotel but funnily enough it is rare to find a very bad hotel or a bad hotel experience. Neemrana Tower House in Cochin, was a bad experience for my family. I booked a family room (1 king bed+1 queen bed) with an extra bed for 2 days and nights, for 4 persons from May 13th to 15th, 3+weeks in advance after clarifying details on their websites, other platforms and by calling the Manager operations, Ms. Vinita Vijayan herself. I was told that yes it was available and that booking any later would not guarantee the same facility. The booking was done online in full payment for 3 persons with extra bed charges to be paid at the hotel on arrival. I reconfirmed our booking a few days before our travel as well. At no point were we aware or told that the premises were being renovated. Come 13th of May, when we reached the hotel just before 4pm after traveling from Pollachi, we noticed that the hotel was under repair with no staff in sight to immediately receive or guide us. I walked into what seemed like the reception, saw no one and then looked further in, to see a lady who was the manager working on her system in her office. I introduced myself and had to ask her for guidance and help for parking and baggage. After 15 minutes of that, we checked in. I even paid up the additional extra bed charges for 2 days. As we were moving to our room, we saw that all the rooms were being renovated. Our's seemed to be the only one ready. On asking about the pool the manager said that it was being renovated too. Basically apart from meals in our room or the dining area, the rest of the hotel was unusable. On confronting the manager, she said she had informed us and it was updated on the website. Both NOT TRUE, which I double checked. She offered no compensation or even explanation. That's when we got upset and I asked for some reparation of what was an obvious con. She was unapologetic and almost indifferent! Long story short, we took care of our own comfort. I insisted on a refund, which was promised with no timeline. Refund of the extra bed was offered too of the day we were staying and the next, but the manager refused to commit in a mail. The next morning despite assurance of a formal mail about the refund as payment was not immediately possible, there was nothing. After insisting, a short mail was sent promising 1 day's refund. We checked out at 10.30am. After about 2 days, 1 day's refund was done without the additional bed charges including the day we did not stay( we were charged for a bed we did not use) Throughout the stay there were no efforts to make us comfortable. The breakfast was lack lustre and just average with runny scrambled eggs. Definitely not going to trust the Neemrana brand again. Beautiful property, horrible management.

The management of this hotel is excellent. They made my stay feel secure, friendly and family like. They receive their guests with a cold towel and make them feel that they have arrived at a restful place. The food was excellent too - especially their soups. During the course of my stay they included a guide - Rajesh - who was a local and so knowledgeable that he raised the quality of my 2 day experience to another level . The hotel is located to many excellent museums and I needed more time. The trip was fabulous and I am planning to go back!
