Our arrival was nothing short of amazing! We were warmly welcomed with a refreshing drink, a beautiful shell mala, and a soothing sandalwood bindi. The traditional dance made us feel so special and added a magical touch to the experience. The room offered a stunning ocean and harbor view, where we could admire majestic ships like the Indian Coastal Guards and Shreyas. The lunch and breakfast were delightful, and the sunset cruise was truly a highlight. During the cruise, we enjoyed sightseeing landmarks like Willingdon Island, Bolgatty, Vypin Island with its iconic fishing nets, the water metro, Aspin Wall, Mattancherry, the bridge, and Taj’s Gundu Island. The cruise ended on a beautiful note with a traditional dance performance and a serene lamp-lighting ceremony. Our evening was elevated further by a mesmerizing Kuchipudi performance. The dancer’s expressions were simply breathtaking! A special surprise awaited us in our room – balloons and a cake thoughtfully arranged by the Taj staff to celebrate my husband’s birthday. It was such a touching and memorable gesture! I also have shared detailed feedback in the note provided in the room. A big thanks to the team for their exceptional hospitality and for making our stay so unforgettable! 😊

Well located for us next door to the latest Chef Pillai restaurant and a 12 minute walk to the beach to watch the sunset. Beds were very comfortable. Service friendly and helpful with maps and arranging a tour guide. Breakfast had a good range of foods. Poor wifi and the lowest fan setting for AC was still a bit strong for us, but overall a very welcoming experience as we start our Indian adventure.

Wow !! Absolutely Fantastic!!! This is a Beautiful House, Overlooking the river. Viswam the owner is a fantastic *** , so helpful & Caring and so are his staff. The rooms are Beautiful, modern, Super comfortable bed, even tea & coffee. The food is just delicious, STRONGLY RECOMMEND This Wonderful place. We spent 8 happy days at this little gem of a hotel in early March 2024. The lush grounds, family atmosphere and fine restaurant made for a pleasant stay. The restaurant draws diners from outside the hotel with fine food and closeup harbor view. The atmosphere is quiet and green, the accommodations are clean and simple. The front desk arranged tours of fishing villages and backwater sites. We checked in on my birthday and it was an excellent present.

I stayed here for three weeks. This is a good value budget option. The hotel is very centrally located and is a safe place to stay. My room was medium sized and I was supplied with a kettle on request. There was a small outside balcony with no view to speak of. There was no fridge. The A/C was very efficient, as was the WiFi. Water was supplied daily. This place is very clean- well done to the hard-working staff who were all delightful: consistently very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended!
