A 10 story hotel located about 10 minutes walk from Sannomiya station. It is located in the building town of the old settlement, and it is quiet with few cars and people at night. The appearance of brown and the stone lobby feel modern. The room size is an ordinary business hotel size. The interior is simple and chic, but I feel old around the water. The TV is 32 inches, large and air cleaner is also installed. Because it was winter, it was cheap with a single 3980 yen at Friday accommodation.

It is enough to have 5 minutes in front of Motomachi Station and Nanjing Town. I chose it in the location, so that was perfect. The bed is big, but the room is finally large enough to pass by two people. It was bad that I didn't check it earlier, but it was hard to use because it was a unit bus. I stayed with two people, but there was only one card key in the room, and when I took the elevator, I couldn't go to the accommodation floor if I had to put the card key on the elevator. It was difficult to act in a split. . There is a coffee room on the third floor with coffee and cartoons? I think it is not troublesome to crush time because the cartoon is good to bring into the room.

I had booked a single room, but they said, ”There was a vacancy, so we upgraded you,” and I was able to check into the room.
It's right next to Nankinmachi. It's close enough that you can take your takeout home with you.
The shower head was really nice. Also, water service was available on each floor, and they provided eco-friendly bottles instead of plastic bottles.

The hotel is old and all facilities are old. But the cleaning is neat and there is a free shuttle transfer to the station in the morning, and I think it is reasonable from the price for accommodation. But breakfast was the worst. All of them were frozen round, and there were shumai and Akashi Yaki in Kobe, but Akashi Yaki and soup were tasteless. The juice described as 100% orange is a type of machine that is mixed with water and discharged, and the orange is almost lost and only colored water. There is no 1500 yen in that content. It was very unfortunate.

Hotel Okura is very prestigious place with Japanese emperor frequently visited. One of the big conglomerates Pre world war 2. 1 year ago, Japanese emperor had visited Okura Kobe. However, it has been subpar to say the least and overpriced.
Cleanliness (Stains in a lot of spots)
As you can see from the photo. There were stains at bathtub. When I asked the front, they said it is inevitable due to how long it has been used. Even the washroom inside Okura had stains and dust, which is very concerning considering it’s price point
Location (Good for sea views but bad for tourism, walking and traveling)
The location for sea view is amazing and it’s near haborland and BeKobe. However, Meriken-Oriental park also offer the same sea view + direct port for ferry with same price point and better cleanliness.
The big problem with its location is it is far from everywhere else. Some tourist spots such as Kitano Ijinkan, sanomiya city center, waterfalls and herb garden. The JR is at Shin-Kobe which is around 15min taxi. Walking is pain the ass, as front entrance is only for cars, in order to walk, you need to go through one of the three sub-entrances, which requires you taking elevator or walking stairs
The location is not bad but there are hotels with better location such as ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe.
Directly under the shinkansen, 5 min walk (one street) from kitano ijikan and one straight line to waterfall and herb garden. The service was also fantastic.
Service (Amazing, but can’t really speak English)
The only thing going for the hotel with this price point was its service. Everyone was really kind and helpful, very professional. I have seen several times staffs were struggling with English speakers but aside it’s amazing.
Amenities. (It got the regular stuff but lacking minor stuff like weight scale, free newspaper etc which gets offered at same price point)

I stayed because it was convenient because it was close to the Meriken Park venue in Kobe Luminarier. I was confused by the elevator on the first floor. The lobby was decorated with rope, and I felt like a port town. I thought the room on the 12th floor was easy to use as a clutter. I have everything I need. The large communal bath on the 3rd floor was more than expected because there were various types such as Yakujinyu, Kurokawa Onsen hot spring, calcium bipolar carbonate hot spring, and sauna. I enjoyed taking a bath in the evening and morning. There are no reasonable restaurants in the area, so I went to Nanjing Town after visiting Luminarier. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

My husband reserved bouquet and birthday cake. While it costs around 8,000yen in total, the hotel forget to deliver them to our room and even asked us to pick up from the lobby ourselves. It does not worth the money.

Although it is the same Higashi Ward citizen, it was difficult to go out of the prefecture due to the corona disaster, and I stayed at a good price for the citizens of the prefecture, so I stayed at the nearby Plaza Hotel with a plan with a big Patos ticket. Dinner was limited to summer vacation and there was a Dinaso buffet. This is the children's delight. Dinosaurs welcomed me from the entrance, and the dishes were a wide variety of menus with dinosaur motifs. The sweets and desserts were also substantial, and I was very satisfied and full. The buffet the next morning was also very delicious. The child played home until he became a het in the pool. It became a good memory of summer vacation. I would like to use it again.

GGuest User部屋に露天風呂付き、朝夕部屋食でこの宿を選びました。 この条件としては他のホテルに比べとても安くてお得感がありました。 部屋での食事は工夫されていておいしく、また係りの方も丁寧で良いです。 フロントにはありましたが、部屋にアルコールスプレーが置かれていないのは残念でした。 部屋の露天風呂は大きな開き戸を全開すると天井はありますが露天風呂になります。半露天かな。ラドン温泉水は常時注ぎ込まれており、バスタブは深く広く夫婦と子供2人の4人くらいなら一度に入れるくらいの大きさでとても開放感があります。 部屋にはその浴槽1つのみで、身体の洗い場スペースもあります。 その開放された窓からの景色はすばらしく、川向こうの山の爽やかな緑一面なのでとてもリラックスできます。鴻朧館のHPのトップにある景色そのままでした。 さらに高価格の宿と比較すると設備で高級感は少し劣りますが、有馬の他の宿は街中にあるのでこの景色は臨めないでしょう。 大浴場は行っていませんがコロナ前には小さい缶ビールも無料提供されていました。現在は中止中でした。川沿いに金泉のお風呂もあります。 駅からはシャトルバスがあり、川沿いを少し上ると意外と混んでいるマス釣り場や滝があります。

The front was a main road, but the room was quiet. The staff 々 also felt good, and it was helpful to keep my luggage for a little time after checking out. The room was clean and he had a view of the city. (Middle floor) The buffet-style breakfast was also fulfilling and delicious for the reasonable accommodation fee. It is convenient to walk to the sightseeing tour bus stop in 5 minutes ～ 6 minutes.

Ggmsl2018It would take a whole page of details to describe how nice this place is in 2020. I stayed there three times, each time in different rooms, each time perfect. It is just NICE. Location is perfect, quiet yet one stop from Kobe, the neighborhood is romantic like Greenwich Village or Montmartre or a nice place in San Francisco. The little house is very cute, very homey, with a large common space. The staff are incredible. Just rush to stay there before the team get old and change business. For the time being, they are super super master of genuine hospitality. They made me understand what is the pinnacle of a ”guesthouse Japanese style”. There is an elevated railway line running just on the other side of the street. It is not a problem because during the night, there are no trains. I fully recommend this place. The waitress told me the name of the vegetable ,how did the chief cook it and what’s the benefit of my healthy.I really enjoy my birthday vegan dinner. There are two rooms and one yard next to my private bath room. I can see the bird in the yard and enjoy my bath in the room. Great staff , Nice room and definitely will come back again.這次是第二次造訪，因為第一次體驗很好所以選擇生日時候來這裡度假放鬆。餐點是精進料理，女服務生對於蔬菜的解說很詳細，我感受到日本人的文化及專業的服務。很享受的生日晚宴。房間裡包含有日式房跟洋式房及一間私人庭院泡澡浴缸及庭院。早晨拉開紙門可以看到庭院的鳥兒叫，陽光透過樹葉灑落在榻榻米上，喝杯茶走到庭院感受有馬山林的空氣，有淡淡的竹子味道，還可以在自己的浴缸看到綠意的庭院，享受早晨的寧靜。當然早餐也是很棒的享受，健康飲食讓身體沒有負擔，整個人可以沈澱的心靈跟身體的resort.感覺很好還會再來。
