3世代での旅行、子ども夫婦一家がおもに価格で選んだホテルです。クルマ利用の子ども一家とは現地集合にしました。8月盛夏、この年は格別に暑かった。三宮からポートライナー市民広場下車、キャリーバッグもありホテルまでの道のりがとても遠く感じました。ホテルホームページには所要時間7分と書いてありましたが、10分以上かかった。（暑さで休み休み。）・・・私は街なかのホテルは駅から徒歩5分以内で選ぶのでこの距離は苦痛でした。 ロビーは広い。子ども一家が到着するまでソファーで休みました。（水分補給は絶やさないようにしていたつもりですが熱中症気味だったようで待っている間にスポーツドリンクを飲んでやっと回復。） 商工会議所に併設されたホテルなので何かイベントがあるときは宿泊客も増えるのでしょうか。この日は高校の部活合宿利用の団体がいました。 デラックスツインの部屋は、ある意味無駄に広い。「巨」の字のようなレイアウト 客室に入ると、前は廊下、左に曲がると廊下、その左側が独立したバスルームとトイレ。 その先に広めのベッドルームです。バスルームは洗い場も完備、日本人式のお風呂に入れるのがとても良い。古いホテルでは珍しい構造です。マンションのお風呂のような感じというのか。（最近は、シャワーブース形式でなく、シャワーにもお風呂にも使えるバスルームを備えたホテルが増えてきていますが。） この建物は結構古い、調べてみたら神戸商工会議所会館の竣工が1988年12月のようなのでその頃の建設ではないかと思います。 今のアリストンホテルの運営になったのは2015年、それ以前からの設備を受け継いだのだと思います。 設備は古いものの、清掃はされており客室内で別の人の口コミに見られるような事象はありませんでした。（口コミは個人の感性に左右されるところが多いのだと思います。特に悪い評価は、不快感については実際感じたより強調して書かれる傾向があるので注意が必要です。口コミを見て覚悟して言ったら、そんなひどいことはなかったというホテルがほとんどです。） このホテルからはコンビニが少々遠い、また飲食関係もあまりないので評価は分かれるところでしょう。・・・私の場合、子供一家とともに近くの大きなホテルに食事に行きました。そののちにポートライナーで三宮に買い物に出かけました。 翌日、トランクもあるので呼んでもらったタクシーでJR三ノ宮駅へ向かいました。

Location of hotel is superb, literally steps from the train station. The street beside the hotel is lined with restaurants, hence you will never go hungry. The configuration of the room was a little awkward, making 1 pax hard to get off and on the bed. View from the room was great. Hotel staffs were super helpful and gave us a good suggestion for dinner.

I stayed here for two nights. It was located exactly halfway between Kobe Expressway and Okurayama, so it was convenient with good transportation and many convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The amenities were basically in the lobby, and you could take only what you needed. The drip coffee was a big plus (I'm a coffee lover). It's great to be able to drink coffee whenever you want! There was an electric kettle in the room, so it was useful when I wanted to drink coffee or tea. The bathroom and bed area in the room were clean and comfortable. I stayed in a smoking room, so there was a smell, but it was to be expected for smokers. If you are really concerned about it, I recommend staying in a non-smoking room. There was no outlet near the pillow, but they provided an extension cord, so it wasn't a problem. I saw some reviews saying that the Wi-Fi was weak, but my Windows laptop worked fine, so it might have something to do with the location of the room. The location and cost performance were great, so I would definitely use it on my next business trip.
