No towels in room

The Silk Rooms
The room itself is decorated very nicely and parking was convenient and free after 6.00pm just outside the property. However for the price it is missing some little extras like a bottle of water. They ask you do not eat in the room itself which is was inconvenient for us as we booked the room for an overnight before we flew on vacation and it would have been nice to just get a takeaway and settle into the room instead of having to go out to eat. In summary they are nice rooms but overpriced for the facilities in my opinion.

Nice stay but could be improved with little tweaks
A nice stay but could have been excellent with a bit more attention to detail.
Could have done with a vacuum. Shower gel hasn’t been replenished and pillows weren’t great (not much to them).
Great location for bars, restaurants and shops.
Easy online check in with key codes entry (can’t generally get in early as it’s unmanned and doors don’t release until 3pm) - guy cleaning did let us in at 2:30pm though which was kind and appreciated.
Parking is a pain (not owners fault) car park next door is payable at only 70p an hour which would be great BUT you can only park for 4 hours which obviously doesn’t work if you’re saying over.
We ended up parking in Hillside Road - just on side of the road (no yellow lines and free). It’s only a 5 minute walk so was fine for us.

Lovely stay!
Lived the room, everything felt very high quality and the bed was really comfortable. Everything was clean and well presented.

Luxury escape
Really lovely room with a very luxurious bathtub and separate walk-in shower. The restaurant was closed for renovation (Sept 2023) but there are a dozen others to chose from within a few hundred yards, plus a Waitrose with a great bakery (breakfast sorted), a Coop, and a Sainsbury all within 2 minutes walk.

Good location clean and tidy
Great location beautiful room and shower, id like to make a couple of suggestions. Set of drawers needed as no storage apart from a shelf and 6 hangers, had to live out of suitcase for the weekend, ironing board and a small fridge then the place would be perfect. Great for parking less than 1 minute walk to everything you need. Hostess excellent

Romantic night
Stayed for one night. The room was very comfortable lovely bed linen. Great bathroom. Location is great for the bars and restaurants and parking close by.
