Alcor Hotel Feriendorf an der Ostsee

Um 1000€ ärmer - aber um eine Erfahrung reicher: Never ever, nie wieder! Die Gründe: Wir hatten die Ferienwohnung 181 im Reethaus. Diese sind teilweise mit Sperrmüllmöbeln eingerichtet, im Badezimmer hing die Steckdose nur noch an Kabeln, es gab keine Kindersicherungen, weder an den Steckdosen noch an den Fenstern. Unsere Kinder, 2jährige Zwillinge, hätten jederzeit aus dem 1. Stock auf die Straße fallen können. In der Badewanne fehlte der Stöpsel, die Tassen im Schrank waren alle dreckig... Das angepriese Kinderfest gibt es nicht, der Spielplatz im Gelände ist voller defekter Spielgeräte, auch die Freizeithalle ist völlig abgerockt. Vielleicht ist die Qualität eine andere, wenn man ein Ferienhaus hat. Dazu können wir nix sagen. Insgesamt fühlten wir uns in unsere Klassenfahrtzeit zurückversetzt und in der Zeit ist das Freizeitdorf stehen geblieben. Das Gute: Kurzer Weg nach Boltenhagen (7 km) und der Indoorspielplatz. Das Konzept an sich ist gut, aber leider entspricht es nicht dem heutigen Standard.

Wir haben hier eine Woche Urlaub mit unserem 5 jährigen Kind gemacht. Das Zimmer war ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Aber wir haben uns hier nur zum Schlafen aufgehalten. Dafür ging es. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Es war alles da, was zu einem guten Frühstück gehört. Das Abendessen war leider etwas eintönig. Immer die gleichen Beilagen,nur Kartoffeln und Kroketten, für ein kleines Kind leider meistens nichts dabei. Das Küchenpersonal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Der Außenbereich mit Spielplatz auch sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Der Indoor Spielplatz war aber sehr schön. Alles in allem war es für eine Woche ok, aber wir werden nicht noch einmal dieses Hotel buchen.

We spent 5 nights in the holiday village on the Baltic Sea. We had room 202, which is in a two-unit house. There is a room with a double bed, TV, open kitchenette and small table. In a small adjoining room there is another small double bed, more suitable for children. The bed was much too short for me and I got claustrophobic when I slept. The bathroom is also very cramped with a shower. I didn't find the room particularly clean. It's best not to look under the bed at all. There is a dishwasher, but it's totally unnecessary, as there are only 4 spoons, 4 forks and 4 knives, so you have to wash up anyway. The room was always quite damp, somehow our things were always damp. They charge a lot for the bed linen and towels, 33 euros for 2 people. You have to pay extra for electricity. The WiFi hardly worked. The outdoor area is quite nicely decorated. We wouldn't book here again.

We have stayed in one of the holiday homes several times - and unfortunately this year will probably be the last time. The investment backlog and the lack of maintenance of the entire complex are now impossible to ignore, even with a lot of goodwill. The drain in our house smelled terrible. The dishwasher spread the dirt evenly over the dishes instead of washing them. The cause was filters and other components that had not been cleaned for ages. We were really disgusted when we looked into the dishwasher and from then on we washed them by hand. We have known the furnishings in the house unchanged for 10 years now and nothing has ever (!) been modernized. The sofa alone is so stained, broken and worn that you can find better examples in any bulky waste. There is WiFi only in the drafty lobby, and the charging station for e-cars that was advertised on the website turned out to be a normal Schuko plug, for which most cars no longer have charging technology on board. The television and radio are also clearly out of date. For years, the good location and the wonderful community experience with other families have brought us back to Wohlenberg. But now we've reached a point and we're out. We really hope that money will soon be invested to modernize the complex. Then we can really make something out of the holiday village.
