I booked a stay at Adora Calma Beach Hotel through Expedia.dk, specifically paying extra for a beach view room. However, upon arrival, I was given a tiny, dark, and noisy room with no beach view. When I brought this up to the reception manager, they were unhelpful and dismissive, and despite contacting ******* for assistance, the only response I received was a token compensation of 130 kr, which did not make up for the poor experience. So disappointed with Expedia.dk The room was far from what was advertised—small, gloomy, and uncomfortable. The hotel’s beach is also practically unusable due to constant heavy waves, and the pool is tiny, making it overcrowded given the number of guests. The location isn’t great either. While the hotel’s website might make it seem like a beautiful, relaxing place, the reality is far from it. The only redeeming factor was the restaurant staff, who were friendly and provided good service. Unfortunately, the overall experience was extremely disappointing, especially considering the higher price I paid for a room I never got.
