The hotel was good overall, but I didn't receive any emails from trip.com or the hotel mentioning a password to enter the hotel beforehand, and even when we called the phone number written on the wall at the door no one responded. Fortunately, there were other guests in the hotel who opened the door for us, but when we checked in Trip.com did not provide a check in number, we couldn't do self check in at all, and we called several tablets on the phone before someone got through. We were frustrated with so many problems as we had two children in our peers. Trip.com did not provide any assistance at all during the whole process, so I will not book Rakuten Hotel through Trip.com in the future.

I went to Kitakyushu for a family trip and stayed at Rihga royal hotel Fukuoka, which is located near Kokura station, the center of Kitakyushu. First of all, the location is very good. It's close to Kokura station and there are shopping centers, downtown, shopping streets, and Kokura castle nearby. Since it's near Kokura station, it's easy to get to other areas nearby, such as Fukuoka and Moji port. The hotel is a large hotel with high floors that are very noticeable in the neighborhood and seems to be the best hotel near Kokura for banquet halls, buffets, etc. It has an overall older feel than the newer hotels these days, but in a good way, it's classic and the rooms are relatively larger than the newer hotels. Overall, the hotel is well maintained, so it is clean and comfortable. The hotel staff is also doing a good job of maintaining the characteristic Japanese friendliness and attentiveness. The in-room amenities are also good. The hotel breakfast is also excellent for the price. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Kitakyushu.

Very close hotel from Shimonoseki Station. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk. The price of the original 々 is also cheap, but we were able to stay at a low price in the Go To Travel campaign. Location conditions cleanliness is good. I don't go to the public bath on the first basement floor, but there is a joint bath. This is pribably the best hotel in mojiko, beautiful rooms and good location. Guests for the better rooms have access to the lounge providing drinks and snacks throughout afternoon and evening. However the premier deluxe room that we booked has a split level between the toilet and the bed areas. This is unsuitable and unsafe for people with handicap and elderly couple like us. We had no choice but to ask for downgrading to a normal room. A great disappointment. However, we have to thank their staff for making an effort to relay our hearing aid which we left in the hotel in Hakata. They made sure that we received the ear piece in Kobe. We are very grateful.

We stayed 1-night in a 3-bedder while exploring North-East Kyushu area. Very friendly front desk staff and they were efficient and fast checking us in to to our room. To our surprise, we were provided with complimentary breakfast and also free-flow welcome drinks. Excellent end to the day after driving hours in the heavy downpour. Room was of good size for 3 adults and even space to lay out our luggage. WiFi was good and we had free car park throughout the stay. Beds were comfy with choice of pillows. Separate wash area outside the bathroom which was useful with 3 people in the room. Breakfast saw a good spread of local fare and it was sumptuous and must say the best hotel breakfast spread throughout our 2-weeks Kyushu road trip.

The building is new, but the free parking lot is in conflict and the response when it is full is guided to another nearby hotel to another unreasonable parking lot, or the hotel will bear the cost with coin parking. Here, you can only guide the coin parking next door and the cost is not covered. Many meals are the same when staying consecutive nights, and you get tired of it. The elevator is always crowded and frustration accumulates. New built hotel.However, I had some frustrations.Free parking is almost full, so I must park the charge(400 JPY) park.And free breakfast almost the same menu every day, finally, elevator always busy and long time waiting.
