Our flight was late and we got to the hotel sometime after 9 pm. when we reached the hotel, the hotel staff advised us that they had computer problems and could not check us in.
We waited over 1 hour to find out that they had given away our reservation. We tried to get something to eat while the hotel staff tried to find us another room, but the kitchen closed at 10 pm and we were very hungry. They tried to accommodate us and let us order 2 salads to go which took 30-45 mins. When we finally got our salads and we also got notice that they found us a room for the night. When we got to our room, it was very nice. They gave us the executive suite for the night which eased my dissatisfaction in their service for the night. The next day, I asked if we could stay in the Executive suite for the rest of my stay without any additional cost since they could not find us another room as i had originally booked. they agreed and my aunt and i had a great time for 1 full day. On our 3rd day when we returned back to the hotel room after being out the full day, we noticed load machine like sound coming from the room since we were on the 10th floor. Then we notice the sofa seat was wet and water on the floor. Then we noticed water coming from the ceiling running down from the ceiling down the wall and over by the living area and by the bar area. It was crazy. I had to call the front desk and report it. They sent up someone to evaluate and then when they saw it, they called the manager or engineer to take a look. It appears that work was being done on the roof and the water came down into the suite and made a mess of the furniture and floor. The engineer apologized for the inconvenience but and then left. We were left in the room with water all over the floor and unable to use the living room. We ended up having to call the front desk to have then send someone to clean up the water on the floor and on the furniture. We ended up eating in our bedrooms. When we checked out, i mentioned to the hotel staff about the inconvenience we had with the water and the staff was sympathetic but no apologies or offer to give a discount or anything. I decided i would not return to this hotel again. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone especially with the experience we had.

From the moment of making our reservation, this hotel was very accommodative. Provided extra information on the Jamaica Carnival - thank you Farah! Monique was very professional in chec king us in. This is a good hotel in a good location. It's bright and clean, well appointed and comfortable. The rooms are spacious with good bathrooms, good quality carpet and amenities. The dining room is open and bright, clean and spacious. The food was really good for a hotel, at reasonable pricing. The staff was always pleasant and helpful and there is an onsite taxi service. The driver will take you where you want to go and wait for you if you ask. It's very convenient. Close to a grocery and pharmacy and across the street from a great people's park.

GGuest UserFirst time ever in a Kingston hotel (came for Independence celebrations) and I absolutely fell in love. You are greeted at the entrance with a car that is the same make and model of one driven by James Bond. It's pretty cool and the outside of the hotel is gorgeous, so it just adds to the class. Jhonelle and Janelle at the front desk made a hectic check-in with 6 adults, a baby, and 12 bags, a breeze. They smiled and laughed at my jokes (bless them) and handled it all with grace. They also came to my assistance a few times within the two night stay (giving directions, replacing lost keys, etc). The breakfast in the morning was probably one of the best I've had in a Jamaican hotel. Owen, who was on the breakfast staff, was attentive and helped my husband and I squeeze our over-sized stroller into a corner. He was extremely mindful and helpful throughout the breakfast. The hotel was close to a lot in Kingston and our room was exceptionally clean. There were two pools; the Sky Pool (for Instagram) and the Cabana Pool, which was just a very nice pool. The Sky Bar and Pool were gorgeously lit and made the background of some great pictures at night. Their staff, as well, were pretty nice. Miguel had the pleasure of getting our bags out of our rooms. He will also laugh at your jokes and win all the lines in bag Tetris while efficiently getting you out. If I ever needed to recommend a place in Kingston, it would definitely be here.

Some of the team that contributed to making my stay most enjoyable, Monife - Front Office Agent, Keenan the Head Chef, who went above and beyond to making sure that my Father and I had the best possible lunch experience. Stacy Ann - Dining Room Server, smiled, served and made sure that we enjoyed our meal, Nickesha - Front Office Manager reached out to make sure that ALL was ok, Shantol was our bartender who surprised us with delicious and flavorful beverages. Rarely do you experience so many employees in one place making sure that you are having the best time, and I highly recommend this hotel for your getaway needs. BRAVO Rok Hilton staff!! Well done.

GGuest UserI had such a good time at AC! We went for some drinksโNew York Sour and Espresso Martinisโwhich were so, so delicious and met a gracious server by the name of Shaair Smith. Super personable, gave us a lot of great laughs and extremely funny. Can't wait to visit AC again for more good times.

GGuest UserPrice/performance are consistent. Therefore the very good review. Safe, clean, small accommodation with a little renovation potential. 5 minutes walk from Bob Marley Museum. Free parking on the completed land, a nice reception and pre-coming port. Drink refrigerator is closed at night, not accessible. It makes sense to provide drinks and snacks before check-in. Breakfast was not offered in December 2022 (not yet). A residual from Corona times. Since no supermarket or kiosk is located in the footing environment, only the tank remains for the most necessary in the morning, before the journey. Longer stay I would not recommend, in principle not in Kingston. But for the transit and the small Kingston check, which must be already, if you are on the island, fine.

This is a โMotelโ not a Hotel! Not Recommended!!! This hotel is a like a prison. The rooms are smell like mold and stink! This is not suitable for anyone to stay who are visiting from the US or aboard. Not Recommended.!! This place needs to be investigated. It's build like a cave. Ratchet and ghetto! If you are looking for the perfect ghetto get-a-away, this is the place for you. Nobody is at the front desk to greet you. I stayed there for 5 days and not one time I was able to speak with management. Thank God I use to live on the Island and know my way around. This is the only reason I stay for duration of my stay. Just needed a bed to sleep during the nights. The security guard/grounds keeper handles all transactions. I would have concerns about being attacked or rape if I was a female staying there. There is no welcome package or information provided. The bathroom is horrible. The shower curtains are only 2 clear liners they use for curtains. The front areas are filled with local vendors and you have to fight with them for parking. Seem like they nailed a piece of plank wood on the wall, that that was used for the head bead. No closet and no safe. the hotel is just horrible!! Nothing like the picture they advertised on the internet. Please do not stay here!! This hotel seem more suitable for human trafficking than anything else. This was not a pleasant stay at all.
