I will start with a positive. The folks at the front desk were very pleasant. And the place was easy to find. The room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. I was not expecting a 5 star accommodation. The negative. I did not have hot water. Barely warm. It was a bit noisy. You could easily hear people in the hallways and doors slamming. I did not have TV it was broken, well the remote was to turn it on. There was a note to turn the TV on manually from the set but I could not access where that would be without risking knocking the TV off the wall, supposedly the remote worked for everything but turning the tv on or off. There was no breakfast, not even a simple one either. Was not a horrible experience but little things could have made it better.

It doesn’t look anything like the pics not even a little bit. It’s a wreck and a big lie. They are calling it construction but it’s obviously been torn apart and neglected for years. Don’t waste your money. Not good enough for my dog. Pass on by fast.

If you are unsure whether to believe the four star reviews or one star reviews, believe the one stars. Yes, it was $110 a night opposed to the other hotels at $250+ but you get what you pay for. Doors don’t lock. Very unclearly. Lobby photo inaccurate. Parking lot sketchy, with beer bottles in grass upon arrival. No noise cancellation from hallways. Humming fridges. Towel bar falling off the wall. Clearly smoking occurred in the room at a time with the smell lingering and walls leaking through. We were switched rooms after the room we were assigned had not been cleaned (in defence we had a last minute booking). The continental is use at own risk, not one we were willing to take. The second room we had had clean beds. We are just travelling through so it was fine for what we needed, being too tired to continue on. Would I stay there again? Ummmmm… no.

I should have know by the looks of the outside what we were in for but it was a late check in and we were all tired. Walked in to check in and all was ok in the lobby. Walking down to our room the smell got worse. Walked into the room and it instantly smelt of mold. Let’s start with the horrific lime green bathroom. Blood clots stuck to the ceiling, hair stuck in the hair dryer. Black “mold” around all the shower fixtures and tub. Dirty! The actual room is very outdated and lamps don’t even work. The fridge hummed all night. Cobwebs in the corners of the room on the Ceiling. The desk and Tv stands were filthy. I complained that night. (Also there is apparently 5 “managers” everyone I spoke to is a manager apparently. In the morning they were all in pajamas… so clearly they all live there too) They wanted to switch my room, but my kids were exhausted and in bed already. I imagined all the rooms would be basically the same dirty, smelly & outdated stuff as room 115. So I declined switching. Said I would stay the one night and cancel my other 2 nights there. We went to days inn. Highly recommend staying there vs. whatever this hell they call a hotel. I don’t know how they are even passing an exception! Disgusting. Maybe this is great for men during the snowmobile season or a one night stand. Abort bringing ur family to this establishment. I know this review won’t change how they run their establishment but hopefully it will help someone stay clear from even walking in this filth. I should have took more photos - but I was disgusted.

Has to be one of the worst Econo Lodges we've ever stayed in. Should have known from the looks of the exterior what we were in for, building itself looked run down. As first glance the inside of the room didn't look too bad. But, first thing we found was Door 4 the door leading into the Econo Lodge part had no latch on it even though there was a sign on it saying not to prop it open for the safety of the safe and customers. The bathroom had what appeared to be a vent but, no way to turn it on. Then light in the bathroom would shut itself off on it's own. Had to wiggle the light switch to get it to come on, not what you want to do when you have to climb out of the shower dripping wet in the dark to do it! Then went to log onto the internet and there was no internet available in the Econo Lodge section. When reported to the staff on duty he did not seem to want to believe me until he walked down and seen for himself there was none. Never did have internet the entire night. The HVAC unit in the room definitely needed repaired or replaced. Extremely noisy and basically ran or at least made noise the entire night even when the fan wasn't running. Then in the morning when I went to make the cup of coffee found the floor had standing water under it. And water was under the LVT flooring in the room, which meant even after bath towels were thrown down it would come up between planks. The room was advertised as having coffee. It had 1 packet of coffee available in the room to make 1 cup of coffee, no coffee pot. Good thing one one of us drinks coffee. Went to the lobby to get a second cup in the morning and the machine there was out of coffee. Had to stop at a gas station on the way out of town in the morning to get more coffee.

As other reviews stated. Don’t let the outside fool you. Not very lighted at night, Can keep you away. VERY well renavated room! Everything worked & was VERY clean! All the other hotels in the area for $500 a night. Too much for this retired couple. Econolodge took care of us wonderfully.
