"My group has been coming to this hotel for the past three years and have always had a great time. The rooms are clean and spacious with great views of the ocean. The staff is awesome and very knowledgeable. The location is perfect as it is close to several restaurants and souvenir shops. The front of the hotel has great views of the Wright Brothers monument and plenty of parking. My group is already planning for our return next year."

Bill is a wonderful host and he has treated us very well, breakfasts were amazing, every day a different surprise. Everything super clean, the B&B has been built in the ‘46, perfectly maintained, porch and garden in the backyard amazing! Warmly recommended"

"Just don't, move on! And we booked 2 nights. This place was very unappealing from the first sight. The ONLY draw is that it is right on the beach. The air in the room felt , lets just say , unhealthy. Room had a coat of paint on walls and lvp. The rest - well , just don't go. I'm saving you the experience."

"The sea is just outside the door, and there are barbecue facilities in the yard. There is a small kitchen and a large refrigerator in the room. I went to the supermarket to buy some seafood and cooked a hot pot, and then went to the beach for a walk in the breeze. It was a good stay experience."

"My wife and I went to the Outer Banks for a day and a half adventure that involved needing a hotel room. I chose shutters based on being located near one of the music venues we would be visiting. We are both free pleased with our stay. It was of course in the winter and off-season so we didn’t have any crowds anywhere which was perfect for us.    It was everything we needed and expected and nothing we didn’t need. It was perfect."
