If we could we would give this place a zero. I am a Marriott bonvoy member. Requested non pet friendly room no such thing at this hotel. People with pet allergies stay away. Floors in room stickey, bath towels dirty , toilet paper holders broken, outlets in bathroom did not work, fire pit outside a mess front desk clerk had to use rocks to keep fire going, pets in dining area, breakfast buffet disgusting, no workers at hotel had uniforms or name tags on except the day front desk person, no manager on duty I can go on. Please look at pictures attached and do not stay here. We had to check out early due to allergies and because we pre paid we could not get a refund. Marriott corporate is the next one to get this letter

Really great OBX hotel. This review is not a 5 only because parts of the place need a good cleaning or a coat of paint. Otherwise, it's all here....good location, even walking distance to a couple good places (Noosa, Kill Devil Grill). Beach is across the street, through a pleasant pool area and snack bar. Lifeguard is right there. Housekeeping is thorough, though linen and garbage line the halls until pickup later in the day. Garbage did stack up in the ice/garbage room a couple times. I'm sure it's tough to keep it all clean and tidy. Staff is very friendly...thanks for the upgrade!

I don’t recommend this hotel because it was not clean. Bed sheets, floor, and towels were dirty. There were red stains on the bed sheets and pillows cases. Guests put their dirty towels and trash bags in front of their room. It was very hard to walk in the hallway. Front desk lady was very rude and unprofessional. Breakfast was terrible.

Bel hôtel proche de la plage. Il faut juste traverser une route. Grand parking. Très bon petit-déjeuner inclus. Les chambres sont grandes et comprennent un coin cuisine bien équipé. Les lits sont confortables. Tout dans la chambre est très bien pensé et fonctionnel.

If you plan on spending the night at this hotel, check your bed linens before climbing into bed. During our stay last week we had what appeared to be human feces on our bottom sheet. I called the front desk to ask for another bottom sheet, the hotel staff person came with another set of sheets which I changed myself and handed her the soiled sheet. She immediately apologized and said she would report it. When we checked out the next morning we told the manager asked about our stay, we told her about the soiled sheets, she was appalled and sent a complaint to her supervisor. The supervisor emailed us yesterday to say she would give us 2000 Marriott points (equivalent to about $20 for our trouble. We didn't ask for a discount or to refund the cost of our room, however given the circumstances a refund should have at least been offered. When we refused her offer with the explanation that we just wanted the proper staff to know what happened to us, she offered 5000 points and told us the "area we saw" was a cleaning agent that didn't get rinsed out. I have worked in a hospital for too many years to not recognize feces when I see it on a bedsheet. Sorry, this was NOT a cleaning agent, it was feces. My regret is that I didn't take a photo. I am embarrassed for this hotel, their management staff and the way they treat their customers. What ever happened to the adage, the customer is always right? The right way to have handled this was to apologize, not make excuses, offer a free night to be used within a year, something other than Marriot points? Sorry, but we won't be needing your points as we will NEVER stay at another Marriot hotel. The other sad part is we have been loyal Marriott members for decades. All good things must come to an end. My advice... check your bed linens before climbing into bed!

The room was more than we expected with its size and accommodations ( full kitchen, dishes, large closet). The free breakfast was the best ever with what was offered. Very pleased with this hotel and would definitely choose it again for an Outer Banks visit.

Avoid. Stayed here for the indoor heated pool and cozy fireplace - the fireplace was out of gas / broken and the pool was freezing cold. Maids only clean your room if you stay 3+ nights and only every other day. Very disappointed. For $229 a night big thumbs down.

This was a perfect location for a weekend getaway and the staff treated our pup like royalty. The rooms were very clean and we were able to access the beach from their entrance right across the street. The only recommendation I could possibly think of is to add a hot tub that’s open year round as the indoor pool ( as nice as it was) got pretty crowded. We will absolutely be back! Thanks for a memorable weekend!

We are staying in the Outer Banks often due to business there. We normally stay at Hilton properties but wanted to give this a try due to it being closer to our projects. I was really exited to give this a shot as it reduced our travel but about 20 minutes each way. The property was so so, rooms were average. The staff was pretty decent. We wanted to check out a day early and move to another Marriott property closer to the airport sure to our flight being so early. Hilton never has an issue but this hotel specifically did. I never have seen a hotel worry about losing one nights revenue like this hotel. I spoke to the hotel manager Michael Lewis and he indicated he would run it up the chain. Never got back to me…. Poorly handled and not a great stay. When in Outer Baks look for the Hilton Garden Inn. Right on the beach, less money, nicer and the staff understand travelers need some flexibility.
