Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea

A lovely property! We mentioned that it was right after our engagement and my fiancés birthday in a few days when we arrived and the staff continued to congratulate us and be very kind. The beds are always incredibly comfortable at the Four Seasons. This property is quite beautiful and on the beach which is a plus. We requested an ocean view room on a higher level- the resort is currently under construction and there are quite a few people who stay at this resort with children- so I would say it’s definitely busier here and more noise than smaller resorts. Overall a lovely property with helpful staff and lots to do!

Awful experience at the Four Seasons. We were woken up in the morning to an extremely loud jackhammer sound. We were never told about construction during booking nor when we checked in. In fact, they “upgraded” our room, but it appears they just moved us closer to the construction. When we complained, we were told the manager would call us, but were never called. For a 5 star resort and over $1k a night, this is absurd and unacceptable. If you’re looking for a relaxing resort and superlative service, look elsewhere.

Absolute parasite at this wonderful hotel. We were offered a room upgrade at a heavily discounted price upon arrival and the room did not disappoint. The food and service was exceptional. We visited the Fairmont and the Grand Wailea during our stay and we were so pleased that we chose the Four Seasons over these two other hotels. IMO they are worlds apart!

Construction going on all across the resort. My wife and i stayed here for our honeymoon and were extremely disappointed with the service and overall state of the resort. We were in a suite with a "partial" ocean view, which you had to walk to the corner of the balcony to see, but had construction directly beneath our room which required us to hear smashing of rocks all day. I have stayed at four seasons throughout the world and this was by far the worst experience ive ever had with them. Used the concierge to book us a table at farraro for our honeymoon wrap up dinner. Restaurant was beyond chaotic with poor service and extremely overpriced and we ended up being sat directly next to the kitchen so i'd probably recommend going to book a table at the actual restaurant rather than use concierge. if you want to use the pool, make sure to get there at 7am to book your seats or else you will be put on a wait list for the entire day and get a text around sunset that seats are open. Make sure to close out both server tab and your tab at the pool tab seperately because they are not connected and they will call your room 3 times within 10 minutes just to get you to tip... Four Seaons is generally the best at making sure your experience is top notch for the ridiculous money you spend there but this clearly does not apply to this property.
