The first impression is great - you can take beautiful photos and the beach has fine sand. No problem at all for an overnight stay. However, we also got to know the other sides. First we were supposed to be given accommodation other than the one we had booked. That was clarified - the bungalows are not well maintained and this is particularly evident in the bathroom and on the terrace. The rubbish that is washed up on the beach is not cleared away... sometimes the guests do this (including us). The staff are very superficial and have little interest in the guests; money is the main priority. The food is relatively expensive and not of good quality. Many drinks are not available on the menu, only those on the boards and these are of course more expensive. When you arrive there is a sign saying that card payments are not possible - here you are offered a taxi to Khanom for a relatively high fee to withdraw money. This also shows how far away from everything this hotel is. There are few parasols in the complex. This is because the stands are completely rusted through and the mats on the loungers are always lying there and gradually breaking. We were given a new and an old paddle for kayaking - the old one broke in the middle, which had already been glued several times, and we were supposed to pay 1500 Baht (40 euros) for it - supposedly 15% of the new price - a joke. Clarifying the matter was very nerve-wracking and shows the unprofessionalism and greed of the staff on site. On the last day, breakfast had already been cleared away at 9:15 a.m. - we were only 2 families there! In general, there were few guests in the complex... perhaps for good reason. We had 3 wonderful weeks in Thailand, but we could have saved ourselves these 4 nights - a shame, that was supposed to have been different some time ago.
