Barton Hall Hotel & Spa ★★★★

"Excellent hotel with great spa with very large outdoor heated jacuzzi / plunge pool. Great that the hotel has a bank of 10 Tesla super high speed chargers for EV's in the car park"

Kettering ★★★

"This hotel should look at a way of cooling the rooms during the current heatwave. There was no aircon, just a fan which was useless. It was so hot it was difficult to breathe. Unbearable!! We ended up trying to cool down under a cold shower. You can't expect people to sleep in these rooms. It must be a health and safety issue, especially for older people like ourselves. We checked in after midnight in the early hours of Saturday morning due to having a puncture and not being able to travel the 80 miles home. Although the website accepted our Friday night stay, the receptionist insisted we would need to wait until 3pm as it was a Saturday booking. Eventually he relented and changed the date. However, we were still charged the Saturday night rate which is double the Friday night."
