Traditional Lake District hotel. Location was perfect for wandering around Keswick.
My room was warm and had a lovely view of snow capped hills. Tea and coffee making facilities were available.
Bed was very comfortable and facilities in the room were clean.
Decor in the hotel is traditional country style.
Check in was quick, a few stairs to climb to my room.
The lady who served breakfast was very cheerful and friendly, despite us arriving very close to service closing. An excellent breakfast was served.
The car park is small but managed to park my car and was allowed to leave it there for a few hours after check out so I could explore Keswick.
A comfortable one night stay. Thank you.

Best location in Keswick ever, central for everywhere. A really quaint hotel with first class service, pleasant, clean bedrooms. Fabulous breakfast. But our stay was made perfect due to the wonderful staff, so friendly and welcoming and engaging wanting to converse with us. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Will be booking again next year. Hope they’ll all still be there. Lovely young man on the bar and desk on Thursday night and an absolutely lovely Scottish lady looking after us for breakfast on Friday morning, both made our stay special.

Very poor wifi in all area's which is really not acceptable these days. Electric sockets in our room were hanging off the wall. The light socket bwhind the bed was an old fashioned circular pin. Poor water pressure in shower. Good breakfast & centra. Hotel needs some investment & updating. l
