Arcadion Hotel
4.5/545 Reviews
This is the second time we have stayed at the Arcadion. Staff are lovely, check in is always very efficient and friendly. Rooms are comfortable and clean, maybe not the biggest, but certainly suitable for a stopover. Breakfast is also very good, a good choice of food, and lovely sitting outside in the sunshine. We are looking forward to staying again next October.
Corfu Mare Hotel -Adults Only

On arrival at 10pm we were seen straight away and given a list of all the information we required for our stay. Lovely staff on reception. Our room was clean with a mini fridge and a big wardrobe. The rooms are slightly dated but we only used ours for sleeping so it didn’t make a difference. Great pool view balcony, which I requested before arrival. The bar was very relaxing and the bar staff were amazing and super friendly. They looked after everyone with the same approach and made you feel welcome immediately. We didn’t spend much time round the pool but we got a bed in the afternoon when ever we wanted one. The hotel is about 20/25 min walk away from the old town, of you use the top road instead of the main road. It’s so able but then you can also speak to reception, who had us a taxi within 5 mins every time. Cost is about 12/15 euros each way. Well worth it. We had a hire car so used the hotel as a base. There is not much around the hotel and you need to travel to a beach, it seems most people used the buses to get about. The only shop near the hotel is a little kiosk on the main road but they had plenty to choose from. The main event in this hotel for us was the restaurant! We used this twice during our stay and we highly recommend giving it a try! Overall we would use the hotel again and we enjoyed the releaxed atmosphere.
New York Luxury Suites

Really lovely apartment. We arrived very late at night from Dubai (with a few days in Manchester) so we had a fair bit of luggage, and a toddler in tow. There are quite a few stairs to get to the apartment entrance, so if you have lots of luggage/a pram etc just be mindful of this as it’s a bit of a struggle getting up all of the stairs. Once you’re at the entrance there’s some more stairs again to get to the elevator. The apartment itself is just stunning, really clean, with lots of space. This is needed when travelling with children. The bedroom is really spacious and has a small balcony (which we didn’t open due to the toddler but could be really cute of an evening). Bathroom well equipped and clean, and a small kitchen with a dishwasher and everything you need. There’s a laundry area on the ground floor which is great, we did a load of washing which helped us with the toddler. The location is perfect, you’re really central with all of the amazing old town sights closeby. There’s also a supermarket closeby (use google maps) to get staples etc. Overall, we loved the apartment. Given we came from Dubai and have high expectations with hotels etc, this was fabulous. Would highly recommend for families, as long as you’ve got someone to help with the luggage!
Arion Hotel

There is no kettle in the room, but it was provided upon request. Not a toilet brush! There is no way you can clean the toilet on your own. This can only be done by a cleaning lady once a day. This is the first time in my life I have seen something like this. The hotel is a 20-minute walk from the airport and the same to the center. There are two Orthodox monasteries nearby, 5 and 10 minutes on foot. Breakfast is the same every day, tasty and varied.
Sunset Hotel

Kindest and most generous hotel. Our family was evacuated from northern Corfu and headed south toward Corfu Town. The Sunset hotel had no vacancies but didn’t hesitate to open up the lobby lounge for stranded families. They even provided pastries and coffee in the morning for free. They went above and beyond and showed true Greek hospitality. Despite not staying in a room the lobby entrance and loos that we used were immaculately clean and well presented. Thank you Sunset hotel.
The Royal Hotel

My boyfriend and I stayed at Royal Grand for five nights (October) and had an absolutely fantastic time. Firstly, what views!! Great spot for Corfu beauty spots within ten minute walk - we had something to do every day. Rooms were immaculately clean, with fresh towels and cleaning services daily - couple of small issues with cracked mirror in the bathroom but nothing to ruin the stay. Some reviews mention the airplane noise - Why book a hotel with airport views if you don’t like the noise? My boyfriend is an aviation enthusiast and we enjoyed watching the planes go by whilst relaxing in the pool and outdoor areas. Slight issues with the decking being wobbly in the upper pool area. Poolside food service from attached restaurant and food is brought direct to sun lounger (pay for this service) Food and drinks were on the whole lovely - people have been COMPLAINING about it but everything tasted nice, with breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner being an overall 7/10. Popped out for lunch/dinner a couple of times due to samey meals but on holiday so why not! Staff went above and beyond offering us an extended courtesy room due to terrible weather on our last day. Couldn’t do enough to help us. Everything you need within a ten minute walk of the hotel - mini market, beach etc
