The hotel was situated perfectly in town, the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful, the television channels were a bit disappointing - but I enjoyed my stay even though it was only for one night

Excellent staff, clean rooms, but the lack of temperature control in the rooms made it almost a miserable experience, as we couldn't get the room much below 21 degrees. The first room also didn't have an opening window, but the wonderful staff did give us a room change for night 2, but even then the small crack in the window still didn't combat the heating.

Excellent service from Hazel and Katlen. Very friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. Even though they had a big party of other people to serve they still had a smile and made us feel very welcome. The food was quick to arrive and was just what we needed. Thank you.

Fabulous stay here. Christine at reception worth weight in gold and made sure I had the most comfortable stay. Good clean rooms, great access to restaurant and food with ultimate care and hospitality, particularly at breakfast. Nothing too much trouble.

Great location and exactly what you expect from Premier Inn. Room clean and tidy. Comfortable bed and lovely shower. Staff friendly and helpful. Never had any food there so can’t comment on that. Definitely would stay again if we come to this part of the Lake District

Excellent hotel and service was excellent. Two workers Diane and Hazel were extremely helpful and polite. Highly recommend. Food was excellent although a little bit of a longer wait. Only downfall is limited parking and wifi is horrendous.

A big, clean room, lovely service by the staff - Hazel, Katlen, Rose and Megan - who made our stay enjoyable. Food was outstanding, especially the fish and chips! A quiet area! It was our first time here. Great little car park - easy to find a space. Great distance to the lakes -spectacular views! Would recommend to friends and family.

The premier inn was on the whole ok. But a few things were not good. No plug for the bath, tv faulty, an accessible room right next to a fire door making it difficult to turn into the corridor in a mobility scooter. Also the adjoining pub the Wakefield was not accessible from ground level which meant we had to go in a small lift, my wife gets claustrophobic in small spaces and didn't enjoy trying to get in, so we didn't have breakfast or evening meals there. We will not go there again because we enjoy a late night dring on the premises.
