The room was clean, tidy and spacious. The only drawback was that the elevator was broken during check-in time and the location was a bit out of the way.

Can't praise Larisa on the reception enough she is an absolute credit to the hotel. From first arriving she was so welcoming and friendly and even offered to move her car for me as she realised I wasn't particulary happy where I had to park my car as it was so busy. And fortunately for me she was on the reception again on my return and greeted me again with a huge smile and asked if the holiday had gone well . Good Customer care doesn't seem to be important these days to some people but I can confirm that Larisa went above and beyond to ensure that this was definitely not the case. She's a credit to the hotel!

This was our 3rd visit to this hotel because of the spa facilities and the restaurant.I reserved our room over the phone, we went on Saturday 12th for my wife’s birthday, our nightmare started , on arrival we was told the spa was closed at no stage during booking we was told this I should have walked away then we decided to stay as we had made the 50 mile journey, we already booked our 3 course meal at marcos and was looking forward to it, our starters where buffalo chicken strips which resembled chicken nuggets when we pointed this out to the waiter he apologised our main meal was worse this was a shared mixed grill consisting off 2 pieces of chicken 2 small rack of ribs and 1 small steak to share we did have 5 cherry tomatoes as garnish absolutely horrible no wonder the place was empty Totally upset my wife on her birthday Never again would I waste good money On this hotel , they would have known if they told us about the spa we wouldn’t have booked so kept quiet ,we felt as though we have been ripped off the manager had no explanation and was more worried about what review I would leave

Last minute booking. Superb staff, especially reception staff, went above expectations to help me with an issue. Rooms were very clean and refreshed everyday. Food was excellent in the restaurant. Would highly recommend and book again.

A lovely hotel situated close to East Midlands Airport.. stopping over was a great start to our holiday and a very good rate through hotel website. Th staff are lovely and make you feel at home and the lunch and evening meal are fab . The decor in Marco restaurant is fab coming back on Friday to stop overnight before going home

The newly refurbished Yew Lodge did not disappoint! Muhammed on Reception dealt with my booking as soon as I arrived, I was very stressed as had had a worriesome day and was late for a dinner with friends. He kindly gave me a very good room rate including breakfast for 2 nights, which was absolutely excellent. Overall a very pleasant stay indeed and very good value for money.

Refurbished family room was surprisingly nice - spacious, clean, air conditioning, complimentary water and toiletries (including conditioner in the shower, which is often absent in hotel bathrooms). Public spaces are nice and the restaurant a great find. Staff are friendly and professional. The espresso is excellent!

Wow thoroughly recommend this hotel. All areas were Immaculately clean, polite, attentive and welcoming staff. Especially the an Irish lady who served the evening meal and breakfast for our stay. Food was excellent. I work in a hotel so I do know what to look for too ! Fantastic place

I stayed at Best Western Premier Ema Yew Lodge Hotel & Conference Centre for a quick overnight before my early flight, and it was just what I needed. The hotel is conveniently located just minutes from the airport, with a complimentary shuttle service that made my travel hassle-free. My room was clean and quiet, with a comfortable bed and blackout curtains that ensured a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly and efficient, handling check-in and check-out smoothly. I would definitely recommended it.
