Lawaii Beach Resort is perfect for budget accommodations. ASK ABOUT A/C. Temps were in the 80s and our room had poor air circulation even with ceiling fans and floor fans. The rooms are very dated with paint, furniture & overall needs updating. It was very clean and the property is well kept. We ended up on first floor- with no A/C and windows open we heard a lot of activity outside our unit.

Lawai Beach Resort is a hidden gem on the South Shore of Kauai in the area called Poi Pou. 3 buildings , 3 pools, 3 hot tubs. Ocean view on most units. Available to purchase or rent a week via Hawaii Time Share Exchange, HTSE. Also owners rent units on the FB page called Resort on Lawai Road.

Lawai is a well kept and manicured resort at Poi’Pu, Kauai. Free garage parking, access to the ocean is across the street, close to Spouting Horn, Botanical Gardens, grocery stores, and shopping. The Coral Building has a partially obstructed view of the ocean, but a wonderful view of the sunset and parakeets. Loved the lanai and furniture.

Well maintained resort. Nice units. They really need to consider installing AC in the bedrooms at least so you can shut the windows to avoid morning parking lot noise (minus one star). Pools nice, clean, well kept. Unit had ample supplies, dishes, two standing fans as well as ceiling fans (2br). We had washer/dryer, nice lanai, 2 loungers & table for six outside. Second BR has two twin beds would be nice if at least dbl sized or queen. Beah towels provided. Great location if you like the South side - worst traffic I have seen in 30 years from Lydgate (Kapaa) back to Poipu.

The location on the south side of Kauai with its beautiful grounds, well appointed units, and good snorkel beach across the street. South side has lots of activities and the resort is always helpful and willing to do all they can for you. Love this place.

Great Resort. We had a Fantastic View of the Sunset from the balcony of our condo. The swimming pools were convenient for cooling off after a beach day. From this southern starting point, we examined the whole island. The Room was well maintained despite age: exercise Room, Pool tables, and Miniature Golf for extra activities. The Exercise was better than expected. We will visit again if possible. The lack of Air Condition was compensated by fans provided and the opening of the windows, etc.

Great backyard view of the ocean. Nice landscaping, daily surfers were visible from our room. Trade winds keep the climate manageable. They provide fans for the rooms. A nice plus if you visit the beaches. They rent beach chairs and umbrellas.

Right across the street from the beach. Facility is clean and relatively modern but there is no air conditioning.

Perfect place to vacation. Beautiful ocean view, close to shopping and restaurants. No heavy traffic. Home away from home. Several amenities to enjoy, tennis, pickleball, miniature golf, ping pong, billiards, exercise equipment
