The hotel is a good place to take photos. Although the items in the hotel store are more expensive, you can feel more assured when buying. Some of the hotel waiters were patient in helping me with my requests, while others were perfunctory and didn't even know that their hotel had stamps for sale. Fortunately, I asked the store owner when I was shopping in the hotel store, otherwise I would have to go to the post office again. Among the three hotels I stayed in Nepal, this hotel had almost no Chinese compatriots, but mostly foreigners. We had afternoon tea together in the hotel, and I also met locals holding birthday parties in the restaurant.

The Kathmandu Heritage Hotel adopts the medieval architectural style of Nepal and uses a large number of exquisite wood carvings. All wood carvings are handmade, and each piece of wood has a history of more than 200 years. The hotel has won the award of the best hotel in Asia, and it has also been planted by people all over the world. It was listed as a "must-stay hotel list" after nine years, and its charm is seen again... Five-star praise, the hotel's Nepalese food should be beyond recognition To describe their sense of ritual and service

We were a group of 20 people, and we all had an awesome time. We were even offered a tour of the hotel, very pretty and old Nepali styled. Amazing food and service, Achyute is a super nice guy. I recommend the chicken, it was well served, delicious and very moist.🤗

Great introduction to Nepal. Classic old building and rooms - lots of wood and period details. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Close to airport. Kathmandu can be pretty crazy and the hotel is a welcome oasis of peace and service. The downside is it is expensive and the neighborhood isn't very exciting. We ate at the Japanese restaurant which was fine but not great. Breakfast extensive. Went for our second night to the Hyatt which is also a top hotel and Dwarika's much more authentic.

This is a larger boutique style hotel with a rich history and detailed woodworking and antiques. It should actually be a unesco heritage site. Maybe some day it will be. Several onset restaurants in all price ranges. In our experience the Nepalese and Indian choices were delicious, more so than the other international choices. Good shops. Has a pool, bar and beautiful courtyard with lots of trees and birds. Owned by the same family for three generations.
