The room is big and comfortable, but there are always some loud noises in the middle of the night!

I recently returned to Nepal to do the Manaslu Circuit trek. We discovered this hotel on the edge of Thamel. What a find! It's got some real style, with thangkas in every room and smart common areas. The rooms are very comfortable, with strong hot showers that feel great after a trek. There's an on-site spa with a hot tub, steam bath and dry sauna, as well as ayurvedic massage. The breakfast buffet is good and the masala chai is a nice way to start the day. We really liked the staff who always greeted us warmly and did their best to make us comfortable. So if you're looking for a midrange hotel in Kathmandu, you will be very happy with this one.

Had a very pleasant stay at the Kantipur village . Staff are very friendly and helpful . The hotel was in a great location near the heart of Thamel , close to restaurants , shops and tourist attractions such as Durbar square . Even though you are near a busy centre Kantipur village is very quiet . Can’t fault for cleanliness and rooms are comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities

The Hotel is in a great location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Puja, Ashmi in the Restaurant was very helpful with the local information and gave me great advice as to where to visit. My primary aim was to track to Everest Base Camp.

Very comfortable stay. First two nights room was a bit cramped. On our second thae put us up in a bigger room. Rakesh, smit, nikesh and kiron were very helpful. Breakfast was sumptuous and healthy. They even served us india delicacy. Next visit stay here again

Lovely hotel. Very comfortable and great location. Staff ave very friendly and cannot do enough to make your stay perfect. I would highly recommend. The food was very good and freshly prepared. Spa and Roof top bar a nice bonus! We arrived late after restaurant closed but freshly prepared food was made available as chef stayed late. Wonderful service.

Heel fijn hotel op een centrale plek in Thamel. Erg schoon, fijne spa en goed ontbijt. Gezellige inrichting. Vooral het vriendelijke personeel maakt het verschil. Dank voor het plezierige verblijf en de goede zorgen Rukesh, Smira, Nikesh en Kiran!

The Kantipur Village is a very well maintained and wonderful botique hotel situated in the busiest part of Kathmandu. This place was recommended by a friend and I'm happy to state that my experience with the front desk and restaurant staff was excellent. The room and service was outstanding with perfect attention to detail. Definitely a must stay place in my opinion. Thanks to everyone and Mr. Prabhakar as well.
