Nous avons passé 8 jours dans cet hôtel qui est bien mais pas exceptionnel, peut-être est-ce notre ressenti car nous avons été dans un hôtel très luxueux auparavant. Nous avons trouvé qu'il y avait un manque de communication et des problèmes techniques (climatisation, ampoule grillée et pas changée..) L'allée qui mène aux restaurants et à la plage est très pentue et pas du tout adaptée pour des personnes qui ont des soucis physiques. En revanche le personnel est extraordinaire et particulièrement Joseph qui nous a souvent servis au restaurant et à la plage; Il est charmant, poli, humble et très serviable. Très bel Hotel au nord de l’ile. La plage publique (animée) est magnifique, le sable bien blanc, l’eau turquoise et très chaude. Les chambres très jolies, spacieuses, literie top. Très bonne restauration, buffets très variés, le chef est top! La piscine est superbe , jacuzzi très agréable. Nous avons adoré cet Hotel. Le seul bémol serait le bar juste à coté, le kendwa rock, assez bruyant, lorsque vous êtes à la plage.

Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans cet hôtel à Zanzibar et l'expérience a été absolument incroyable ! Ayant séjourné dans de nombreux hôtels à travers le monde, je peux dire sans hésitation que le buffet de cet hôtel est tout simplement exceptionnel. La variété est incroyable, avec des plats provenant de toutes les cuisines du monde. Wir waren 5 Nächte im Hotel Gold Zanzibar mit Ocean View gebucht. Leider bekamen wir ein Gartenzimmer und de Ocean View musste man suchen. Die Vorhänge konnte man nicht offen lassen da der Weg direkt vor dem Zimmer zu den weiteren Zimmern führte. Das Badezimmer müsste mal etwas renoviert werden. Die Poolanlage war sehr schön und gepflegt. Der Strand war wunderbar und es hatte genügend Liegen und Badetücher. Am Strand wurden Getränke serviert und ab und zu ein feuchtes Tuch. Das Buffet war sehr reichhaltig und sehr frisch, Fleisch Fisch und Pasta wurden immer auf Wunsch zubereitet. Es werden auch Motto Abende durchgeführt und diverses Turnen am Pool. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.

Excellently located hotel with very friendly staff. We received a very warm welcome and Nancy, our receptionist, even spoke German. The hotel is very safe and has 24-hour security. The cold breakfast dishes are always kept cool as they are served in a cooled room that is closed off by a sliding door. The beach is excellent and the parasols are very far apart from each other. Cooling towels are constantly brought and drinks are offered at all times. The beach vendors are only active on the outermost part of the beach as the security staff do not allow them onto the beach belonging to the hotel. There are other restaurants and bars right next to the hotel. After several walks along the beach we can say that this is the most beautiful and widest beach. Simply top👍🏻
