A hidden gem
A surprisingly well equipped and well conceived property in the south-western region of Uganda. It's very quiet, very well-designed and my wife says it is of European quality - which is a compliment! We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was very spacious. The facilities including gym are way better than in most Ugandan properties. It is a little overpriced and the food is unremarkable BUT if I had to stay near Mbarara and I could get the rate down by 30% this would definitely be my preferred option.We really enjoyed it.

An amazing experience, from the top notch customer service to the meals which were really tasty to Cultural experience to spacious and comfy rooms to bonfire experience at night.This lodge is just super amazing.will definitely visit again

I loved everything about this place: the serene location away from busy Mbarara city, my exceptional room and facilities, the great food, the outstanding and professional staff that always made me feel welcome, secure (I was travelling alone for work!) and taken care of. They also organise activities with their Ankole cows and entertainment with a campfire and traditional dances. Everything is so thought out. A real gem - I’m never staying anywhere else if I’ll be back in Mbarara. A special shout-out to Shillah at the reception: she was incredibile, helpful and simply such a warm person to talk to. Thank you so much.

This is my absolute favourite place to stay in Mbarara! It has lots to offer. The beautifully designed and tastefully appointed rooms, the cottages with their semi-private gardens, the trees paradise, the bird life, the gym, spa and swimming pool, the cows and the cow culture tour . . . and now they have a new Chef Adrian to close the loop on the excellent service!!

We stayed for 1 night here but wish we had more time! The rooms are spacious, beautiful, and well appointed. Staff is friendly and the onsite food is delicious (some of the best that we've had in Uganda). I love that there's a gym and pool onsite too, as well as cultural / farm tours and activities available. Only downside is that we were told that Wifi would be strong, including in our room, but that proved not to be the case. We couldn't get Wifi or cell signal in our room and had to go to the lobby. Still though, this is a GREAT lodge!

The lodge is 5 Star. It has great ambience. The views are serene. The service was great. Meals were so great. It was such a lovely experience which I will talk about for a long time. Cheers to the management.

On our way to Kampala we had a stop over for lunch at Emburara farm lodge....The lunch was fantastic and the pineapple juice was the best.Please ask for the pineapple juice at the lodge. Thanks for hosting us.

Excellent experience, superb service (and we were a party of 15 with kids). The rooms are large and very clean with beautiful scenery. Nice pool and a very nice football field for the kids. Even the spa was great. A great choice.
