Tlou Safari Lodge ★★★

"This lodge is relatively new, and consists of multiple separate units, some with single bedrooms and some with two beds/baths. It is relatively new and all units I saw are in good condition and were very clean; housekeeping staff were thorough. There is a small swimming pool and a restaurant. Staff are uniformly friendly and helpful, and there is an elevated wildlife deck looking out over the Chobe River. We were quite comfortable in the large double-bed room in one of the larger units. The restaurant is fine for breakfast and lunch but selection for dinner was very limited and we went out to eat after two or three dinners there. We did arrange a game drive through Chobe Nat Park through the lodge and we had a great time. Overall, I recommend this lodge, which is about ten minutes from the Chobe Park and just outside Kasane."

Luxe Residence Guest House ★★

"It's located in the local downtown area of Kasane. It was generally comfortable, but there were many insects flying around at night, so you need to repel them with spray."

Rustiek Hotel ★★

"It's a very well-located hotel. With spacious rooms, giant beds, an excellent breakfast, and the best staff in Botswana!"

Cresta Mowana Safari Resort & Spa ★★★★★

"While the property is very nice when you arrive and the staff greeting is wonderful things collapse rapidly. The place is so busy either tour groups and day trippers that the buffets are not refilled often enough. The only food is buffet style and often repeated. The pool by the spa is the only quiet place to relax but the bathrooms have no supplies. The “golf course” is 9 holes and appears abandoned (pro shop had a padlock on it mid-day). The rooms are adequate size but the beds are tiny (doubles not even queen sized). Our AC failed twice in 3 days and we had mouse droppings all over our patio which housekeeping ignored so using that part of the room wasn’t an option."

Wild View Resort ★★★

"I was scared at first because of the bad reviews, but our experience was completely different. The room was nice, clean and quite big, comfortable indeed. Everyone is nice and willing to help, the whole place is quite nice and well maintained. The only flaw is the limited, and fixed, restaurant menu, but the cook is available to do some customizations to your dish. I can say we had a nice stay for a affordable price. Recommended."

Thebe River Safaris ★★★

"The hotel is nice, the ecological environment is good, there is free WIFi, it would be better if the check-out time could be delayed"

Ichingo Chobe River Lodge by Mantis ★★★★

"Had an awesome experience, hospitality was great, very friendly and helpful staff, all meals were fantastic. To top it off fishing was good even though conditions were not conducive (serve flooding at the time) Will definitely be going back!"

Plateau Guest House ★★★

Chobe River Lodge ★★★★

"We had an excellent and highly enjoyable experience. The staff were attentive, kind and knowledgeable. We did two activities organized by the lodge: a sunset river cruise and then on the next day, a full day safari. Both were fantastic - the guides were excellent, the scenery was beautiful and the wildlife viewing was great. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the prepared meals were convivial and delicious. One of our party is celiac, and the staff was attentive and able to accommodate his needs- no issues with gluten exposure. The views along the rivers edge contributed to the lovely experience . All in all a relaxing lovely experience."
