Boutique Hotel Saxonia

Unfortunately, Saxonia is not easy to find and the location is not great either... rooms are new and very clean... no view, garbage cans in front of the windows that are either emptied at 5am or searched by bums... not acceptable! Unacceptable parking, 20 minutes to walk up and down hills! And then you have to pay €15.00 for that - a joke! You can have the car brought to you - I don't need it... breakfast is OK but not exceptional for 4 stars... service not attentive either and only refilled after asking... Pavel at reception was very helpful and nice. Unfortunately, the hotel is no longer an option for us, the LOCATION is too exposed... Look for a hotel that offers parking on site...

Romantic hotel in the heart of Karlovy Vary. Completely renovated and the staff is suuuuuper. Unfortunately, one big negative point: the parking lot!! You have to drive the car 3 km up a mountain and pick it up again there. Not for people with walking difficulties.

I have rarely had such a comfortable mattress, which is no surprise, as the house has been recently renovated. But everything else was excellent too: a lovely, large room with a good view of the surrounding hills and forests, and you could also see a bit of the old town. The furnishings are very tasteful, the bathroom is big enough and also very nice. Breakfast: a wonderful buffet, new delicacies every day, everything from sweet to savory, fresh fruit and vegetables, if you wish you can have espresso, cappuccino and so on instead of filter coffee, a very pleasant breakfast room. And there is also a sauna and massage facilities in the house - also very pleasant. The Hotel Saxonia is highly recommended, also because it is very centrally located. Barely five minutes to the center, the Market Colonnade and the Sprudel Colonnade (new 1970s building, takes some getting used to, a strong contrast to the buildings around it). Parking: it is a bit far away, but an employee brought my car there after we unloaded our luggage in front of the house - an employee helped with that, by the way. And last but not least: all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Among other things, they gave good tips about restaurants, leisure activities, etc.

Recently opened, completely new, modern hotel. Very attentive, caring staff. Comfortable bed, choice of pillows. Snow-white towels in sufficient quantities, good shower cosmetics. Delicious, varied breakfasts, which change daily (very rare). I will definitely be returning!
