The hotel is built in the mountains, but it only takes 5 minutes to drive to Merritt**. The rooms are similar to standard rooms or suites separated by villas. The outdoor swimming pool is very large and the environment is very good, like a small manor.

Ich war Vier Nächte im Rahmen einer RSD Reise in dem Hotel. Es mag sein, dass in den 70ern diese Anlage toll war, jetzt ist sie nur noch schäbig und abgewohnt und ohne Komfort. Dunkle Zimmer, das Badezimmer eine Katastrophe, die Dusche fällt auseinander. Wir hatten Zimmer direkt über der Küche, was Lärm durch Angestellte bedeutete. Das Essen im Rahmen der Halbpension so lala, essbar, mehr aber auch nicht. Achtung Getränke gehen extra. Die Der Speisesaal hat Jugendherberge Atmosphäre wobei diese mittlerweile wahrscheinlich viel besser sind. Ich würde nie im Traum auf die Idee kommen hier einen Aufenthalt zu buchen. Selbst die Einheimischen in Kyrenia haben gesagt, dass das Hotel nicht gut ist.

Disappointed with this hotel..Read the positive reviews before booking but am sceptical about those opinions . The hotel is a maze …The toilet was leaking but there was no response when dialling reception…Had to go to reception and eventually someone came up…Food was bland and repetitive…The rooms are very, very dated….had to pay for drinks separately and could not add them to my room bill.. Without a car there is nowhere of interest to walk to. The restaurant was also dated with cats walking across the floor..On the positive the pools are good and the staff are pleasant

Wir haben im Rahmen einer Gruppenrundreise (über RSD) vier Nächte in diesem Hotel verbracht. Die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen und abgenutzt, in der Dusche und auf den Sesseln im Zimmer befanden sich Flecken. Die Anlage an sich ist schön, sie beinhaltet neben verschiedenen Pools viel Grün. In der Anlage befinden sich sehr viele Katzen. Im Außenbereich habe ich damit kein Problem. Jedoch sind diese auch im Speisesaal anzutreffen, wo sie auch auf die Stühle springen. Dies ist in meinen Augen unhygienisch, zudem machte es mir als Katzen-Allergiker zu schaffen. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht. Die Auswahl war zwar groß, unseren Geschmack hat es nicht getroffen, sodass wir auch teilweise auswärts gegessen haben. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es verschiedene Lokalitäten. Auch die Getränkepreise passen nicht zur Ausstattung und zum Niveau des Essens (Bier 5 Euro, Flasche Wein 22 Euro). Zukünftig würden wir keine Halbpension mehr buchen. Positiv erwähnen möchte ich den Strandbereich. Dort haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Eintritt sowie Shuttle-Bus vom Hotel aus ist kostenlos.
