Our stay was scheduled from 02nd to 05th april 2023. Due to some emergency at home, we had to cancel our stay in srinagar and take the early flight back home on 02 nd morning. Informed mm t representative at around 10 pm on 01st april and the houseboat owner was not responding to his call. We tried again on 02 nd april morning from delhi airport, but the owner was still un-reachable. It's true that the booking condition clearly said that after 31st march no cancellation will be entertained. But it's obvious that during this peak tourist season the room must not have stayed vacant for 03 days. The owner could have easily entertained part reimbursement under such unforeseen situation. However, he choose to stick to the clause and refused any refund. Beyond commercial clauses we sometimes have to be human too and appreciate people's pain. I was not asking full refund anyway.
