As a trip.com platinum member, I am very disappointed to say please do not book any hotel in Nigeria with Trip.com. I will also leave this comment in other travel agency website to alert other customer. I came to Kano on June 16,2024, the hotel told me that they don’t have my reservation because they NEVER accept online reservation. In the middle of the night, we were in Kano, a city that we don’t know, we don’t have a room to stay. The hotel was nice enough to let us to get local currency to come back pay a room to stay. Then the biggest disappointment began, Trip.com would not bother to believe me as till today they won’t give us a refund for a room we have to pay twice. This mean their local partner in Nigeria is SCAMMER. And they took their liar partner’s words than my words.

For someone who loves serene environments, this was perfect for me. There's adequate security in place and the complimentary breakfast was sumptuous, though more needs to be added to the menu. I have already recommended it to some people and planning on going to Kano during my vacation for the serenity. I wish I can give it a 5, but not yet.

Before my trip in late Dec. 2022, I had already been to Kano and stayed at another hotel, which despite being so expensive was so noisy, unclean and generally not worth 2 stars. Someone recommended BON Kano to me and not expecting anything better when I booked, I was completely won over by the time i stepped into the reception. This is a hotel worth any in Cape Town, Johannesburg and other serene places in the world. The suite I stayed in was so clean and quiet and the hotel environment is serene and secure. The buffet breakfast is as good as any 5 star hotel too and tasty.

Its really a cozy hotel with all the right services in a serene and quiet environment. Clean and functional Acs. Rooms are clean and the beds and pillows are good for a deep sleep. However, the restaurant could be improved. The restaurant only serves buffet and one had to request an alar carte menu of which they have non. The lunch buffet is rich and has variety, but its the left over for lucnh that is served as buffet for dinner! This is unfair for a price of N11,000/person!

Bon hotel is one of the new hotels jn Kano State, Nigeria. Lovely environment and friendly staff. Lovely structure. Rooms are big and nice, and make you feel at home. Guest have the opportunity of staying secluded, giving you a homely touch. Will surely love to stay in that hotel over and over. Weldone Bon.
