As a trip.com platinum member, I am very disappointed to say please do not book any hotel in Nigeria with Trip.com. I will also leave this comment in other travel agency website to alert other customer. I came to Kano on June 16,2024, the hotel told me that they don’t have my reservation because they NEVER accept online reservation. In the middle of the night, we were in Kano, a city that we don’t know, we don’t have a room to stay. The hotel was nice enough to let us to get local currency to come back pay a room to stay. Then the biggest disappointment began, Trip.com would not bother to believe me as till today they won’t give us a refund for a room we have to pay twice. This mean their local partner in Nigeria is SCAMMER. And they took their liar partner’s words than my words.
